I placed a catering order for a Breakfast Event I had in Hickory Creek. The delivery, the service and the attention Panera (Brinker Rd) put in the details was amazing. They cared about all the details requested and it was a complete success! Our guests were so happy with the coffee, croissants and pastries!

This is the filthiest Panera I’ve ever been to. Right when you walk in, the smell of wet dog (or something equivalent) hits you. The floors are sticky throughout the entire restaurant and every table I sat at to work was wobbly. They had all of the electrical outlets blocked so not sure how anyone could work or study in here. Lady at the counter was sweet but that’s about all of the pleasantries I found here. Food was decent.

Unsatisfactory Experience at Panera Bread – Date of Visit 8/5/2025
A recent experience at a Panera Bread location resulted in significant dissatisfaction. A bacon, egg, and cheese bagel were purchased this morning for $10. Upon inspection, the sandwich contained only one piece of bacon, torn to appear as two.
When the customer brought the issue to staff’s attention, they showed a lack of concern and stated that this was the standard portion size. Cream cheese was also purchased, which was on the receipt, but the employee at the counter claimed it was not on her screen.
When I asked for the corporate contact information to lodge a complaint, the manager provided an incorrect phone number. I had to find the correct number through an online search.
The experience was highly disappointing. The bacon portion was unacceptable, staff displayed unprofessionalism and a lack of empathy, and the incorrect corporate contact number furthered the customer’s frustration. The overall quality of the food and service was below the expected Panera Bread standard.
I will not return to this Panera Bread location and may reconsider future patronage of the company based on this experience. It is urged that these issues be addressed to prevent similar situations for other customers.

Food was amazing however, there are always at least 2 homeless people in the restaurant. I went to use the restroom and a guy was camped out staring at me. Also there is one outlet in the store and usually a homeless person is on it camped out. Would not feel safe using the restroom if I was a woman. Update: the atmosphere has gotten much better since I posted this almost never see homeless people any more in the restaurant.

Beautiful displays. Excellent friendly cashier. I like soft music that is playing, but it is a little loud at times. We had regular coffee. We asked for and got ceramic mugs. There are 4 coffees at the coffee bar to choose from. I first tried a small amount of the dark roast. I was concerned from past experience that it wouldn’t be hot. It was not hot, but lukewarm at best. My husband got a cup of hazelnut flavored coffee. It was hotter and had some steam coming off of it. I got the hazelnut flavor which was OK for being hot. I added skim milk. There is a microwave for use below the coffees. There’s no outdoor seating here. I can see an open closet through an employee only doorway, and this is sloppy looking. The cold drink bar should be kept pristine, and it isn’t.

When I came in they didn’t have the Greek salad that I wanted. I got the chicken Caesar salad with bread and they didn’t even give me the butter like they usually forget to put in. The Greek salad is still on the menu but they said it was discontinued. The Mac and cheese was disgusting, worse than a box you would buy at the store.
