This is their $16 dollar salad now. It is a $4 chick-Fil-a side salad with chicken. For real? Smoked Chicken was old and I added another pic to show size. Just ridiculous…

Please save your money and do not eat here. It’s better if you buy a cup noodle from the store. This is supposed to be fresh cooked it’s definitely already made food they just re heat and don’t even re heat it all the way!! lol! It was cold as soon as I got it! Tortilla was stale cheese not melted. Avoid this crappy place

I really wanted to like this place, but I wasn’t impressed with the food. I ordered the mac & cheese pizza expecting an actual pizza topped with mac & cheese, but instead it was just a bowl of pasta with cheese, which was disappointing. My wife and son had the pepperoni pizza, and it tasted pretty basic—similar to what you’d get at Chuck E. Cheese. The fries were very overcooked and not enjoyable.

The banana pudding was decent, and the staff was friendly, but overall the food just didn’t meet expectations. I’d give it two stars.

I am a big griller , smoker and was looking forward to getting some pulled pork BBQ. There was a kiosk to place orders, but I could not figure out how to do it.And after much time I asked for assistance , they told me they were not working. And out of order sign , it would have been nice. So when I tried to place the order for pulled pork barbecue, they told me they were out. What kind of barbecue place runs out of pulled pork?

I was in a rush to eat and didn’t want to go someplace else.So I decided to order a piece of pizza. One slice that looks like it came from a medium pizza was $4.75 – a little steep for a single slice of piece with no toppings. Extra toppings were $0.75 per topping. So I ordered a slice with pepperoni , and when I got my slice of pizza , it had a total of THREE slices of pepperoni on it. What are ripoff.

I won’t be going back and would recommend you avoid this place. There are two awesome pit smoked BBQ places with ten minutes of this place. Go to Log Cabin or Hanks instead and you will be very glad you did.

The day I went they had minimal staff and had run out of items from the menu. Macaroni & Cheese isn’t the biggest deal to me but if I had children with me that would matter. Looking at when I placed the order to when I received my order an hour passed. It was a good thing I didn’t show up very hungry. There is no human interaction when placing the order, it’s all by kiosk. They lost points from me because that’s a personal preference getting to interact with someone or ask questions. After waiting the hour to get my food it was actually a lot better than I was expecting. The pizza had good flavor and the brisket was both flavorful and not dry. Unfortunately, during my wait I decided to take the food back to where I was staying. It was unfortunate because it was good after some time had passed, so I bet it would have been better fresh.

There were seven others that placed orders I knew there as well and they all experienced issues with their orders. One in my party ordered a salad and the cashier was the only one making them. When asked when the salad would be ready he realized it was his job and that he would have to take a break from the register to make it. The salad took an hour and twenty plus minutes from ordering to receiving. Another of our party ordered chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese and they ran out of both. This issue was they never notified our friend they were out. She waited over an hour and a half to learn they were out of supply.

This place has promise if they can manage to stay stocked and hire enough staff to get orders out in a reasonable time. The food that night really was good. They just made far too many mistakes and took way too long for me to return anytime soon.

Lastly, the place was busy, but no more so than other restaurants in the same niche so I can’t say that is or was a reason for the night going how it did.

At the Virginia BBQ and Pizza co I bought a 12 inch pizza for 13 dollars, so the price is average for a restaurant as Massanutten resort. The place was really hard to find because it is in the Massanutten check in building which has grey walls with a green roof located at the foot of the mountain. The road splits and you have to take an immediate right to get in the check in building which has a green roof. Then get to North Entrance. One you enter through it you will see the place on your left right as you enter. Enough about the logistics. The pizza took about 15 minutes to come but that’s because they were really busy. They have about 7 big picnic tables inside to sit at. When we came all the tables were occupied, however one opened up in 5 minutes. You use a kiosk to order your food once you are done it will print a receipt. Then take the receipt to the front where you will pay. Then they will yell at your number and you pickup the pizza I enjoy very light cheese pizzas and they were really nice to accommodate me and made the pizza very light on the cheese like I asked. They use a real fire oven to make the pizza. The pizza was about what you would expect from a resort, it was decent but could be better. Sorry I don’t have any pictures I hope this review helped you.

I will never understand why they make you use a kiosk to order but then take your ticket to the counter to pay. It look over 35 mins for our meal while half our party got their food immediately. It was over $80 for 4 people and one meal was a kids meal. The food was terrible. Seriously the worst BBQ we have ever had. It was extremely dry and difficult to eat. The Mac with meat had barely any meal and there was no sauce. Was basically noodles in water. The table had plexiglass over the wood but underneath you could see a serious amount of crumbs in the groves of the wood tables. They did not even clean them prior to putting the plexiglass on them and its clear do you can see. They also want you to tip them for ordering your food yourself on the kiosk. Extremely dissatisfied overall. I really dont know how this establishment is still in business. Do better. People work hard for their money and want good food as its described and a clean establishment.

This our 2nd time visiting the resort but the first trying out this restaurant and it will be the last time. Over priced little bit of food, the pulled pork was cold, they gave me 1 slice of brisket that had fatty pieces. Kids meal size fries, we waited over 20 mins just to get cold pulled pork. The best thing i had was the coleslaw slaw which I can tell wasn’t made there.

The staff was friendly and nice. The food was horrible we had 2 of the BBQ platters, the pulled pork and the brisket along with Mac & cheese, baked beans, collard greens and potato salad. Everything was very tasteless, the only thing that was remotely ok was the potato salad. I have had BBQ in numerous states and have always enjoyed BBQ. This was a chore to eat but after spending almost $50 and waiting way too long. You just want to choke down the bad experience. The saddest thing is that there is a real BBQ restaurant like 4 minutes away, at the entrance to Massanutten. Go the extra 3 or 4 minutes, you will regret it if you don’t. We did not have the pizza but what I saw, a good frozen pizza looked better.

This is my wife and I first time visiting Massanutten. During our stay, we decided to visit a local restaurant. We didn’t think to check the reviews but figured we’d give it a try and see if it was worth the price and stay.

My wife ordered the pulled chicken Sandwich with fries And I ordered the brisket platter with mac & cheese and collard greens. My wife’s pulled chicken Was good and hot as my brisket was. My brisket was a tad bit on the dry side, but other parts were tender and juicy. My wife stated that her fries were not good at all. They tasted very old. Like they had been sitting for a while. My collard greens Had an OK temperature and a really great flavor. My mac & cheese were super dry and bland. This was very unsettling. We arrived at 8 o’clock and the place closed at nine. This will probably be our first and last time visiting. I will say the staff was very nice, but hopefully they will do better with the food even at a late hour.
