I want to leave this review respectfully because the women running the place were kind and the food was good.
The issue is the wait time.
We arrived at 4:54 pm (after stopping at the bank, knowing it’s cash only) and did not receive our food until 6:30 pm. That is a 1 hour and 36 minute wait.
Yesterday, we also waited in line for 45 minutes before realizing it was cash only —that part was on us.
Today’s wait, however, is no longer a customer issue. Regardless of staffing or circumstances, that length of wait without communication is excessive.
I respect small businesses, and with that respect comes the expectation that customer time is respected as well.
The experience was memorable just not for the reason it should be.

The absolute best burger in Wichita. Meat is perfectly seasoned and you get consistent incredible flavor with every single bite. They’re so good that I nearly get sentimental about it. Yes, they really are that good.
The fries are mediocre but the burgers are so incredibly good that they could serve packing peanuts as a side and I’d still come back.
The only downside is that it takes a REALLY long time to get through the line. Venue is cash only and drive through only. I strongly suggest getting in line as early as possible before they open.
Conclusion: Getting your hands on one of these burgers is a painfully slow experience but after that first bite you will absolutely understand why the line of waiting cars stretches down the block. Give them a try and see for yourself!

We had never tried Sport Burger before. I’d heard good things, and knew they get a line. The food was excellent! The cheeseburger is definitely among one of the best I’ve ever had. Soo, soo good! And the onion rings and chocolate chip cookie were amazing! It’s worth the wait for the food! (It’s drive thru only).

Best burger in Wichita! Old fashioned juicy burgers with thinner patties and delicious fries. Every burger comes with grilled onions, so tasty! Buns are soft and fresh. Get the onion rings! Drive-they only. Closed Sundays and Mondays, and hours usually 11am- 4pm. Bring cash, no cards accepted.

I was informed by a Wichita local that this greasy spoon, drive through diner had the best burgers in town and boy was he right. This place is busy and the drive through lane can only accommodate about 4 cars at a time so be prepared to wait 15 – 20 minutes to order and pickup your meal. The day I was there I walked up to the front door but there is a sign there that said the lobby was closed so I had to hop back into my car, order, pickup my meal, park then sat at the nice white picnic table in the back watching all the cars line up and order. While sitting there enjoying my meal I could hear people ordering 4, 5 or 8 burgers at a time so with only 1 guy cooking you can imagine the wait but its definately worth the time. I ordered both the single bacon cheese and double bacon cheese burger to sample – the double is the way to go. Nice coronary artery hardening goodness, each patty seemed to be hand formed, juicy and tasty. The chunks of grilled onions melted in with the beef and cheese – each burger had ample bacon and the toasted bun held it nicely all together. The fries on the other had was good but I am not really into super crispy fries – other might enjoy that style. Five stars for the burgers and “Yes” I would definately come back the next time I visit Wichita.

Classic drive-thru experience. Excellent fresh cooked burgers. Hand battered onion rings of the highest quality. Everything is made fresh, so it’s not a five minute experience. But so, so worth it.

Can be a little tricky when it’s busy but totally worth the wait if you’re a fan of old school burger joints. Simple, made to order, and delicious. Prices are still reasonable too!

I went there for the first time and man, those burgers are awesome! I got the double bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink while also getting an extra side of onion rings, and everything was delicious. I am definitely coming back earlier next time to get a bakers dozen of those cookies that I heard about.

This place is amazing!! Their burgers are so simple but they have it right. It’s so good. And the onion rings are the best I’ve had around here. Only catch is that you have to wait a bit. But it’s worth it because they cook to order. I am deaf and told them I was deaf at the order screen. The kind lady came out to my car and wrote everything down for me. Their service for deaf people is excellent and did not feel like I was an inconvenience to them. Definitely coming back!
