All the food was good except the salad. It’s just shredded lettuce, like on a hamburger, not any real leaves. But that’s fine. The shrimp is phenomenal. Everything was perfect and delicious. Good margarita. Great queso. Delicious. Best service ever.

This place was definitely a nice place to eat! Comfy atmosphere amd great customer service. The portions were huge! We had the chicken fried steak and the steak fingers. One with brown gravy and one with white gravy and it was all just great. We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu.

This is an old school local vibe only restaurant, but they consider everyone that walks in the door a local. Have had lunch in Okmulgee tons of times and never stumbled across this restaurant. Bunch of guys ate here today. 2 had steak fingers, 1 had Philly Steak and Cheese sandwich, 1 had the Jalisco Special. 2 had the Chicken Fried Steak dinner. Everyone’s food was very, very good. They have healthy choices as well. We choose to eat a bit unhealthy today and the calories were well worth it! If your looking for a chain restaurant go somewhere else. If you looking for down home Oklahoma, pull yourself up a chair.

Had the chicken fried steak gravy on the side. Eggs overeasy hashbrowns crispy and wheat toast. Came out with gravy on the steak, eggs, toast over cooked.. I mean it wasn’t bad, just not how I prefer my meal. Waitress was on point. Very attentive and asked if I wanted another chicken fry without the gravy. I declined and made do. She awesome.

We were seated right away even though the place was pretty crowded. Took awhile to get our food ordered but it was very good. Philly steak and cheese with fries, Mexican rice with steak, shrimp and chicken, tacos and a hamburger with Mac & cheese. Couldn’t get our ticket so we had to go to register to pay. It was busy so the staff may have been shorthanded but they all seemed a little stressed.

The food I ordered was good. The bread was okay seems overproofed or old but still okay. The fried fish was a bit salty but is better than other fried fish from other restaurants I went to before. The service was good, but she was busy. The place need a bit updating, there was a big moldy spot on the ceiling. Mold is not good.

This place was amazing. The food was very delicious. I got a Pollo con queso and my husband got Philly cheese steak sandwich. The waitress was very sweet and helpful and funny. I’d give it a full 5 stars but I cant because the only literal complaint I have is the salsa. It wasn’t salsa. It was some equivalent of tomato sauce with seasons. Do better on your salsa and this place would be perfect.

We stopped here for lunch. My hubby ordered the Ribeye steak and I had the chicken fried steak. The chicken fried steak was savory. It tasted like black pepper. A little salty, but I really enjoyed it. My hubby’s steak was not seasoned well. Honestly, a little bland. The service was good. The young lady was nice and sweet. They didn’t price gouge so we were ok with lunch there.

This is a family restaurant with a large indoor seating area and menu offering a range of Mexican and American dishes at reasonable prices. Opening hours are 8an to 9pm daily. Service is friendly and timely. Had lunch here with friends recently and found the fried fish with cole slaw and fries. the fish fillets were friendly nicely and tasted quite good. Overall, seemed like a fair place to eat while in Okmulgee.
