Going to a party and decided last minute to take something. My usual place for Lumpia was further away so I found Johnny’s closer to me. Now when you talk small Mom & Pop store, this is it. A small restaurant with no air conditioning (or at least not when I was there) and nothing fancy. I’m not trying to talk bad about this place, it’s just really Mom & Pop. It’s a fast food Filipino place with several food choices. I ordered a tray of Lumpia and by time I got there, it was ready to go. But while there, I also saw that he had some fried shrimp so I bought that tray as well. Both were good. The fried shrimp was just basic breaded fried shrimp that you would find at any other place. No special Filipino or Asian seasoning. The Lumpia was good but I will say that the filling was a little skimpy and skinny. Nothing too bad but it was lacking compared to other places. One thing that definitely sets this place apart is the service. Johnny was extremely friendly and welcoming. To be honest, it wasn’t the best Filipino food I’ve had but it was good and due to it’s proximity to me, I would definitely order from this place again. Plus I try and support not only local but small Mom & Pop shops when I can. Not a big deal but one note. They do charge you a fee for using your credit card. Nothing uncommon about that but it was surprising being that I spent over $60 and still got charged the fee. Usually there is a minimum. He pointed out the sign that states that all transactions are charged, but only after he dug it out behind other papers that were covering the notice.

I DID NOT come to this restaurant but I did park In front of it. An employee drove his shopping cart and hit the right corner of the front of my truck and did not even stop to check for damage. The owner saw and ignored which was walking right in front of him.
They both entered the restaurant and did not even bother to say anything. I asked employee if he was okay and he cussed at me, went inside the kitchen and grabbed a knife, walked away and ignored me. I asked if he needed help and he ignored and kept walking away.
Employee, male, short about 5 ft. bald and dark caramel skin color, talked Spanish because he answered back to me in Spanish, was wearing black t shirt and shorts.
Do not recommend exposing your family to this type of people/behavior/ environment or trying to threaten or intimidate.
No, I did not call police! I probably would have been hurt before the police ever arrived but I did drive away.

WONDERFUL SERVICE! The food was exceptional, and it was very flavorful. The owner “Tito Johnny” was such as nice person, who treats you as you are apart of his family. I recommend to consider trying the sisig, goat caldareta, and lechon kawali. If you want, also try the lumpia . There’s many other dishes which are excellent and I hope you try it plus enjoy it as well. The fellowship, Filipino ambiance etc. are all top tier! Love you, Tito Johnny!

Delicious goat stew over white rice paired with outstanding customer service. They let us sample and provided insight. Several vegetarian options. If you are into seriously good eats despite a rough appearance, put Johnny’s on your list.

Says that they open at 9am. Went here for the first time today Monday Aug 13th 2018 and they are closed at 1035am. Sad to say my family won’t be coming here again, was really looking forward to some lechon. 1 star is being very generous by the way.

Johny’s Kambingan is a small spot but great for a quick Filipino meal. The dishes are flavorful and satisfying, perfect for when you’re craving authentic Filipino food on the go.

Way too expensive to eat here. One item and rise is now about $15 dollars. The worst is one side is a tiny little spoon. It’s not a place to get a quick bite anymore.

Tried the lechon kawali and lumpiang hubad and i liked it so much! But the highlight of my visit was the super sarap soup that goes with every meal! I dont know what its made of though, prolly beef. Also, they were nice enough to give extra rice for free! I love this place!

This is the best filipino resturant I’ve had the pleasure to visit. The staff was super kind, both the owner and cook came out to talk to me about the food and the Philippines. They recommended dishes and all of them were delicious especially the Dinugang. Thanks!
