Diana was absolutely phenomenal — attentive, knowledgeable, and made the entire evening feel special without ever being overbearing. Her recommendations were spot on.
The drinks were beautifully crafted and perfectly balanced. You can tell care goes into every detail — from presentation to flavor.
The atmosphere is stunning. The bows and decor add such a unique, upscale touch while still feeling warm and inviting. It’s the perfect setting for a date night or celebration.
And the food… incredible. The octopus was cooked perfectly — tender with amazing texture — and the sauces were next-level. Every bite had depth and intention.
Overall, such a great evening. Highly recommend if you’re looking for elevated Mexican cuisine with exceptional service in Fort Worth.

Place is very eclectic and upscale looking. They boast “truly authentic Mexican food, not Tex-Mex” and yet the atmosphere (decorum music, etc) doesn’t fit that mood/spirit, but more like they would be serving crab, swordfish, and more “trendy” dishes. I think it would be better if this was more like a huge hacienda instead. I had the Tacos Aron (sp?), which was good, but the meat was a bit dry. They brought 3 decent/typical sized, “street tacos,” but only one wedge of lime and no sauce. The cilantro was shriveled, not very fresh. If this is supposedly better than Tex-Mex then so what? I can’t recall the names of what others in my party had, but they enjoyed it. The dessert was good, the cake hot and the ice cream on top nicely formed, not melting. The cake took care of that. We had to climb 3 pretty big flights of stairs to get to the dining area. Complimentary valet service for the first 3 hrs, then $10.

Man I don’t even know to start with this one! We went for Valentine’s Day with a group and everything was absolutely perfect. From the lounge area when you walk in to getting walked upstairs to our seats with the wonderful view. After we ate we actually checked out the club on the lower level. Everyone’s food was more than wonderful and we all decided we will definitely be back! New Fort Worth gem hopefully here to stay!

Amazing experience at Polanco! Our server Rafa and the manager Eric were absolutely the best — super attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome from start to finish. They gave us excellent recommendations and every dish we tried was delicious. The service alone made the experience outstanding. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

I went for dinner with a friend and got a bar seat since we didn’t have a reservation. The service was excellent. The drinks were beautiful. We had the Panceta appetizer which was fabulous, some tacos and short ribs. All were great! The dessert was creative, delicious and not too sweet.

Amazing drinks, amazing service, food was okay. My ribs were amazing but the some people had unchewable meat. The TV showing shots of Mexico was stunning, the waitstaff impeccable. HOWEVER IT TOOK 47” to have our food come out, and the appetizers came at the same time. Weds night two weeks ago, kitchen seemed “off”? The elote in Taki powder nearly took off a few crowns! Cuidan sus dientes! I had the ribs and it was the same dish from Walloons’s, really and it tasted like just any pot roast. It wasn’t awful, but I have had the same food on Delta so there’s that. We chose Polanco to celebrate my daughter’s 20th birthday because our first visit was great unfortunately, this experience was the complete opposite.
From the start, there were issues with our reservation, even after signing a contract, and we had to adjust our guest list to make things work. When we arrived, we didn’t receive the room I specifically selected from their website. The one I chose had a beautiful view, but instead we were placed in a dark room with no view and even a missing ceiling tile not exactly the setting you expect for a special celebration.
Despite having a reservation, we were made to wait. Appetizers and entrées took an extremely long time, the food arrived cold, and one guest had to wait even longer for their plate while everyone else was already eating.
I understand it was Valentine’s weekend and things can get hectic, but this was a birthday celebration that had been planned in advance. Our server, Lesly, was kind and did her best.
