As my girlfriend and I walked into West Edmonton Mall, we admired the chef hand pulling noodles in the window of the restaurant. We thought we would try this out, and it has been our favourite place ever since! The staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is inviting and welcoming, and the dishes reminds my girlfriend of her visit to China and the food she ate on her trip.

I always tend to order the signature stir fry with shrimp, but the braised beef noodle soup is my new favourite dish. The orange tea is refreshing and pairs well with everything on the menu, and the edamame is a perfect starter. We have since driven to West Edmonton Mall many times just to eat here with shopping as an added bonus. The prices are very reasonable as well with large portions and high quality ingredients at around $20 CAD per person.

One of my favourite spots in the city. If you love noodles or comforting food, you must try this place ASAP

Honestly, my noodles themselves were quite tasty. I had the thick cut noodles and, they provided me with full flavour in my mouth and, they were good. However, the soup broth itself I wasn’t impressed with. It tasted like stock from instant noodles and, it had an odd smell to it that eventually bothered me so much I couldn’t finish my meal Da Ruben also wasn’t impressed that his order was wrong plus his broth was very salty. Thank you

The first time I tried their hand pulled noodle was a few weeks ago when I was on a work trip in Toronto. I’m glad they have it in the WEM located on the main floor ( BRBN St.). I had the braised beef noodle and i highly recommend giving it a try. You also get to choose the style of your noodle to tour liking ( at the bottom of the menu). If you like hand pulled noodle, I recommend this place!!

I had been wanting to try this place since it opened and wish I tried it sooner! Definitely a place I’m going to come to more.
We started with the deep fried chicken breast. It was cooked perfect! Along with what spices were on it. It was so good! Then I had the Braised beef soup with a spiced egg added, and it was amazing! I’m not sure where the other reviews about it tasting like store bought powder stock. It tasted way better than that!

It was a great dinner to enjoy my birthday!

A fair noodle restaurant. It said on menu that it’s Lanzhau style. Just little reminder that 1 spicy is pretty spicy already. Of course everyone acceptance of spicy level is not the same.

Would probably give this restaurant a 4.5/5 star rating.

Was able to try Moguyan so far at two different times. My experience overall has been quite good, and it’s nice to see a lineup at a popular, yet good Chinese Noodle shop. Despite the busyness of the times I’ve been there, I found the service was still very good.

For the food; though it may not look like it, there was a tremendous amount of hand pulled noodles, which ensures you’ll definitely be full by the end of the meal.

I’ve had the braised beef noodles with max spiciness. I found that it wasn’t spicy (though I have a pretty high spice tolerance), so I wish it would be more spicy. The noodles were well cooked and delicious, the soup was very tasty and not too salty either. I found the braised beef pieces the be very soft and tender and was one of the best parts of the dish

The other dish I had was the Tomato flavoured toppings on dry noodles with beef. Once again, the beef was excellent in terms of texture and flavour. I didn’t end up enjoying the thick tomato sauce as much as I expected, but it was still decent overall. The tastes and textures just wasn’t really my thing

Overall, lots of food (I feel like the price could be a tad bit lower), and extremely filling with good quality. Would definitely recommend

My wife and I are in Edmonton with our daughter and her team for the Canadian National Volleyball Tournament. Our games finished by 1pm today so we had time to check out West Edmonton Mall. We were craving for noodles and thought this place would be perfect. The The noodles tasted great and the large size was huge if you pay and extra $2.95. However we wanted to try their side dishes and it was below average. Small portions for $9.95.

We also asked for extra veggies, the server that took our order told us we get cabbage and broccoli for $2.95. We agreed. They gave us broccoli, which is fine. When the bill came they charged us $3.95. We questioned the 2nd server that came with the invoice regarding the wrong price. She told us that broccoli is $3.95 and the other veggie was $2.95.

There is a big miscommunication in staff. Because we came with a group of 7 and had asked the first server to make sure the bills were separated into 3 groups, but they put everything into 1 bill. Staff definitely needs to be more detailed.

Stick to the noodles and you are fine, to avoid poor service.

We enjoyed our meals. The spice was unique and the fresh noodles were noticeably better than dried pasta.

After a long day Shopping @ WEM, we decided to have some food at the food court. But we landed up on the wrong floor and stumbled upon this restaurant Mogouyan Hand Pulled Noodles. It was on my list to have pulled noodles for quite some time. We enter the place and we saw the chef preparing the pulled noodles. It was quite a site to watch. It was a bit busy. We were seated and ordered Large Braised Beef Noodles and Regular Noodles with Deep Fried Chicken Fillet .
Food was quick to arrive and steaming hot. Large was really large. Both Broth Tasted a bit different & Flavourful (Though they just had beef broth). We enjoyed both dishes. I wanted to take a video of the chefs preparing the pulled noodles but I was more into the food. Maybe next time I will for sure take a video. Overall we had a good experience and will be back for more.
