Had a lovely time visiting this spot. No trouble getting a reservation- I’m surprised it wasn’t busier! Food was excellent, we were really surprised by the flavor combos – very well thought out and perfectly seasoned. Service was also really good – they paid attention to little things like clearing plates and silverware between appetizer and entrees. They even included a special treat for my partner’s bday! We’ll definitely be back.

Beautifully presented high-end Indian food. Each dish was gorgeous; look at the photos! Nice level of spice in everything. I had the cauliflower appetizer and the chicken. Both were amazing. We ate in their outdoor dining space. It was nicely heated and protected from the breeze. Def not cheap but worth it for a unique meal!

Also kudos to them for actually verifying vaccination status before seating us.

Came in to celebrate my partners birthday because she has been was wanting to try it for a while now. We live in the neighborhood and are both professionals in the hospitality industry. Great mocktails, delicious food(goat curry was exceptional ), good spice level, beautiful restaurant. Our server Raj was fantastic and so kind. Since we were one of the last tables of the night we shared great conversation with him rather than feel like we were lingering. All in all we had a very great experience. Will be back

I would for sure recommend it. However I would not visit again. It is worth trying once but I am not sure I had an amazing dining experience that I have to repeat

The food overall was creative and tasty. The service was good.

Given that our bill came to approximately 380 for four people, which makes it a rather expensive place for the neighborhood, I am not convinced it was worth it. The bathroom is 100% not a bathroom for a fine dining experience which is not a deal breaker but still.
All the dishes we tried were good but I would say the silken tofu was not worth $22 it was bland and for the only vegetarian dish on the menu I wanted something more elaborate. My friend ordered coffee after dinner with her tiramisu. The espresso was served in large tea cup and was ice cold, after she told the waiter they just heated up the same coffee in the microwave. Adding they did not include the coffee in our bill but still if they don’t serve espressos just remove it from the menu.

Anyway, I would recommend the jackfruit buns.

A standout among the few Indian fine-dine options in the area. Every dish was perfectly cooked, and I appreciated the balanced flavors. Suresh, our server, took great care of us. The Rabdi Tiramisu pastry was incredible, the Heirloom Korma was nice, and the Chili Cheese Naan was a hit. A solid choice for a refined Indian dining experience!

Absolutely phenomenal dinner at Rasai. Food felt familiar but still inventive. Not a bad dish – and we ate A LOT. The standout though were the NA drink options (for dry January, but I hope they hang around). I went for a flight of 5 different beverages, each more interesting than the last.

Beautiful presentation, tasty food but a little pricey. The restaurant is nicely decorated and maintained very well inside.

The location is not the best and it is hard to believe what your experience will be until you go in and try them out.

The appetizers were very tasty and we tried the Shikanji drink with them. The rim was coated with a special spice that made it really great!

We tried the jackfruit steamed buns, dahi poori and chipotle paneer for appetizers.

For the mains, we went for the Fig kofta, black dal and the pheasant lababdar along with the bread sampler.

Dessert was the pistachio brownie.

Everything was amazing except for the pheasant that we confused for chicken (could not appreciate).

I booked a table for two and a Dry January experience at Rasai Indian.

Right after entering the restaurant, I had one and only surprise for the night. The restaurant was smaller than I had anticipated and hence had no bar counter. My expectation for the Dry January “experience” was to be ordering drinks at the bar and the tender making these delicious drinks in front of me giving me the experience. Not a huge deal breaker though.

Taste wise, the Dry January drinks were great. My wife and I both loved the taste of 4 out of 5 drinks presented. We loved the taste of the food. In my experience, you rarely find such delicious Indian food at a restaurant in the Greater Seattle area. And the impressive thing is that they didn’t have to use a lot of spices and masalas to make their food taste authentic or tasty. Dishes just had the taste from their ingredients which is a rare find nowadays.

Presentation wise, we loved the cutesy presentation of everything. The attendants were very respectful and attentive. The food was presented in an aesthetic manner and the drinks were all photogenic.

Along with the food, we also loved the portion. The size of each dish was in such a way that with one / two starters, one small plate and one main dish, you can have two people’s belly be full. Of course this includes the 5 Dry January drinks. So if you’re not doing that, maybe include one more small plate or one more main course dish.

I recently visited this fine-dine restaurant and I must say that I was thoroughly disappointed. The 5-course meal was an absolute disaster. We had to wait for almost 20 minutes between each course and the staff seemed completely clueless about what was served and what was pending.

Now coming to the most important part, the food. The presentation of the dishes looked Instagram worthy but that’s where the compliments end. The soup was good, while the dessert was a complete disaster, with no taste or appeal whatsoever. The pork chop was dry, tasteless and completely inedible.

I definitely would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a luxurious dining experience. It was a complete waste of time and money.

Truly a hidden gem in in Seattle. Restaurant is off the beaten path of downtime Seattle, which was great as we did not have to fight traffic to get here and it did not have the crazy crowds. The service and food was amazing! We originally had dinner plans at 6:30pm, but it was a bit early for us and they were able to accommodate us 30 mins later. As soon as we arrived, they promptly brought out waters and took our drink orders.

The food was plated beautifully and was delicious. It was like seeing a broadway about food. Every thing on the plate complemented each other very well. We ordered the Bread (naan) Sampler and the Ghar Ki Murgi: Chicken Kebab. The sampler came with three types of naan and three types of chutney. Our favorite was the eggplant chutney. It was so delicious we scarfed it down before I could take a picture. The cook on the chicken was perfect – moist, juicy, and the skin was crispy. The chutney that came with the chicken was so tasty we ended up dipping our naan in it.

For our entrees we ordered the Seared Sea Bass and the Lamb-Da Champein. The sea bass was flawless and eating everything on the plate together in one bite tasted like a party in your mouth. The lamb had a nice pistachio crust and three pieces was not enough. Even the vegetables were cooked correctly (not mushy).

We ended our meal with the Broken Matka – A Spoiled Kulfi Falooda dessert. It looked like a piece of art when it arrived at our table and each of the kulfi melted in your mouth. To top off our dinner, the manager gave us a free dessert! The Sinfully Khajoor – Dates Pudding was a nice surprise. The date bread pudding was delicious and not super heavy like most bread puddings and the chai ice cream it was paired with was so good. You get the hint of chai when you’re about to finish the ice cream.

All in all, we had a great experience at Rasai Indian and would recommend everyone make a stop here if you’re visiting or a local. Be sure to make a reservation ahead of time. We definitely will go back when we are in the Seattle area.
