This spot recently opened and it is excellent! The owner was very friendly with great hospitality. There’s a fusion of various dishes from the Caribbean and American food. My husband and I often crave Haitian food but we would have to travel a distance to acquire it. To my surprise and delight, this restaurant opened near my residence and my family and I won’t have to travel the distance and will be coming here frequently. The legume and rice and beans were phenomenal. I highly recommended this location if you wish to have home cooked meals.

We happen to be in the area and we’re looking for dinner. Saw Ayida listed as Caribbean cuisine on Google and decided to try. Lucky we did because it’s Haitian! Been looking for a Haitian restaurant nearby for so long!

We ordered the Fried Fish with Pikliz and Plaintain and Griot with Pikliz and Rice and Beans. Both are delicious!!! So happy we found Ayida. Can’t wait for Friday to get Legume.

Sadly there are no tables so take out only. The smell in the car made us so hungry we couldn’t wait to get home and eat!

Everything was absolutely delicious and cooked right on the spot, so every dish tasted incredibly fresh. The flavors were amazing, and the portions were generous—definitely great value. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. I will definitely be back!

The customer service was excellent. I ordered oxtail and fried plantains. The meat was so flavorful and melted off the bone. And the fried plantains were perfectly crispy. I was excited to find a Haitian restaurant in the neighborhood. The food felt authentically Caribbean. I will certainly be coming back.
