One of the people inside greeted me with Salam, and I knew this place was going to be good. Ordered 2 skewers of lamb and chicken kabob each. Meat was tender. Rice was flavorful. The veggies and salad were surprisingly good and refreshing. Baba ghanouj was excellent. The food was ready In 15 minutes, and the portions were great for the price.

We always enjoy eating here when we are in Asheville. The food is fresh and very good! On Friday, 12/12, we ordered the large lentil soup to split with our meal. The soup was so good that we decided to order another large soup to take home. We didn’t look at our order until we got home. Instead of the large soup we paid for we had the small order – 8 oz. We are very disappointed. This is the reason for 3 stars instead of 5. Recommend checking your to go order before leaving the restaurant.

Yes, we left the confines of our tiny hamlet in journey North to the metropolis of Asheville. And Mr. Kabab Grill was the destination. I had the lamb kebab and my beloved had the veggie platter. Cooked perfectly, with a pride of presentation you hardly ever see. But the freshness and the flavors… Her baba ghanouj was probably one of the best I’ve ever had, the falafel was moist and fried perfectly. Even the rice was extremely flavourful. I was blown away.

My dad has been coming here for a while and has spoke highly of this restaurant so when I came up to get my car worked on, he took us here for lunch yesterday. He ordered the 2 lamb kabab plate and I went with the mixed grill. Honestly the kofta kebab was my favorite. The rice and the salad and veggies were delicious but that hummus stole the show. I heard a woman come in and just order a side of hummus and pita bread to go. Then you know it has to be good. Everything was made fresh to order and packed full of flavor. I could eat a whole plate of that salad. These are some very friendly people behind the counter and such a great restaurant. I just wish they had one down in Greenville closer to me. I’m looking forward to coming back next time I’m up visiting.

I was in the area for work and instead of “ the usual- subway, chipotle, pizza place” I wanted to try something different. Food was great! Place is clean, service great and food literally awesome. I will be back ( already dinner here 3 times in last two days ).

Truly authentic! It’s fresh delicious and everything is properly seasoned and packed with flavor! You can taste how fresh the food is down to the last bite! Don’t pass this place up they are one of the rare times I give a 5 star rating!
