No A/C. The tortilla chips were stale, sauce too hot. They charge for green sauce. We pointed to the $1.25 guacamole, and asked if we could get it on the side instead of in the burrito. They said yes but ended up charging $4.25 for a dinky dish of guacamole that was too hot too, and neglected to say they would charge $3 more. It took 5 minutes to convince them to lower our bill.

Food is always amazing! Service is friendly but sorta shy, maybe because of broken English? Not sure. But never the less great place and great food.

Good Mexican plates! I tried the chicken flautas plate and they were a good size filled with plenty of chicken. Would return! The chips and salsa was also good.

El Patron in Rancho Cucamonga is my absolute favorite place for Menudo on a cold weekend. I’ll drive here on a rainy day to pick some up from here to enjoy at home. Also, the chorizo mixed in potatoes and eggs is also delicious. I love the chips and salsa, which has a nice kick to it. The restaurant is in an interesting location in the middle of an industrial area, but definitely a place worth the visit.

This cozy restaurant is a hidden gem that serves homestyle Mexican food. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with warm smiles and friendly service from the staff, who are all family members. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, making it the perfect spot for a weekend breakfast or lunch with family and friends.
One of the highlights of the menu is the Menudo, a traditional Mexican soup made with tripe and hominy, and served with a side of onions, cilantro, and lime. This dish is the star of the show and is always cooked to perfection with a perfect balance of spices and flavors. It’s a hearty and satisfying dish that’s perfect for a cold winter day or just when you’re craving something comforting and filling.
In addition to the Menudo, the restaurant also serves a variety of other delicious breakfast and lunch dishes. The breakfast burritos are a must-try, packed with eggs, cheese, and your choice of chorizo, bacon, or ham. The chilaquiles are another standout, with crispy tortilla chips topped with eggs, salsa, and sour cream. And for lunch, the tacos are a fan favorite, made with succulent pork and served on soft corn tortillas.
Overall, this family-owned Mexican restaurant is a great choice for anyone looking for a tasty and authentic Mexican meal. With friendly service, a cozy atmosphere, and delicious food, it’s no wonder why it’s a favorite among locals and visitors alike. And if you’re a fan of Menudo, you definitely won’t be disappointed!

I came in to try this place for the first time since I work up the street. I walked up and asked to order and was told I had to sit down and wait to have my order taken. Then someone came in and was able to order before me since he was taking his to-go. Realized this is not authentic while trying to order a burrito. Decided to get a taco and taquito since I didn’t have time to find another place. The gal taking order and bringing food to the table was less than friendly and just short of rude. Not helpful for sure. The guacamole was pathetic and the chicken inside the tequitos was disgusting. The beef taco was ok. The chicken was so bland that it was worse than store bought frozen ones. I will never be back and it’s too bad because I love finding places close to work and home and go to them all the time when they are good.

1st and last time here, asada burrito (bent out of shape) was stuffed with rice, beans and a ton of cheese very little meat and to top it off asada was dry with no flavor, chips sold separately, jalapeno toriado was ok no seasoning, their hot sauce was a mild salsa not a authentic Mexican food place, can’t forget to mention the lady behind the counter needs customers service training!

Wether you have their green chilaquiles at the restaurant or to go, they are just as delicious. That green sauce is just everything and it’s never tasted different from all the years I’ve had them here. The fried corn tortilla strips are perfectly drenched in green salsa that is tart, tangy and zesty and I love how they are so crunchy and not soggy. The chilaquiles are topped with queso fresco and I accompanied mine with beans and potatoes the perfect breakfast after a night out. ::wink, wink:: I opted out of eggs but my husband had his chilaquiles with red sauce (spicier), eggs over easy, carne asada, beans and potatoes, as well. We love the variations you can have. The papas are sautéed with onions, very finely chopped green bell peppers and seasoned with the perfect amount of salt. Their smashed beans taste like they are made from scratch and not canned. We absolutely love the chilaquiles here, you must try!
