We were looking to get a bowl of pho and came across this little shop.
First, this is a small and intimate restaurant. Nicely decorated with photos from Vietnam. The owner was super welcoming and she said everything was made from scratch. She checked on us every once and awhile and even refilled out waters.
We ordered a few things on the menu: pho with Brisket and steak, pho with steak and Meatballs, pate chaud, and banh mi with chicken. All the dishes were super delicious. The broth of the pho was soothing, the pate chard is a good bang for your buck and banh mi was perfect!
We also ordered Vietnamese coffee and Vietnamese lemonade. The lemonade was refreshing and the coffee was strong, just how I like it.
Highly recommend this place and to give it try, especially if you’re a fan of Vietnamese food or just trying out new things in general!

Excellent food! The restaurant is clean, intimate, and quiet, and the service is great. I ordered the Pho Ga and it was the best I’ve ever had. Felt like a nice warm hug, will definitely be going back. So happy there’s finally an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in the area

The food was fresh and of high quality, especially the Pho – it tasted authentic and homemade! The spring rolls were delicious, and the Limeade was unbelievable! The staff is also very kind and genuine; someone was picking up an order, and one of the employees ran outside with the rest of their order to catch the customers before they left! They truly care about ensuring their customer’s satisfaction and experience. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu items!! 🙂

Nice, Intimate place. Daily specials, pho, bahn mi, and other dishes and appetizers. We tried bahn mi, spring rolls, soup broth, chicken fried rice, salted lemonade, and a Vietnamese coffee. Obviously family owned and they were very gracious. The food was fresh and everything we ordered was excellent. My favorite was the soup broth and the bahn mi. Small sitting area but comfortable. The restroom was spotless as was the entire establishment. I would drive out of the way to visit here again. Highly recommended.

the service was so good & the prices were PHENOMENAL. the waitress was so kind & was able to carefully manage all the tables. the pho was truly the best meal i’ve had in a while, it is definitely my favorite & i will be back with cravings lol. i ordered chicken (beef one was even better!!) and added some chili paste as well as both sauces for extra flavor.

My experience was decent. The service was great, food came out quickly and the server was super nice and super respectful. The atmosphere was alright as I don’t think this restaurant can fit a lot of people. Only problem with this place is food. As I look at all these 5 star reviews I don’t think I can agree. The food didn’t taste fresh as it just felt pre cooked especially the egg rolls. And the pork chop was just dry but it did have good flavor. The crepe otherwise called the Vietnamese pancake, was super soggy. Should be crispy and the bean sprouts and shrimp were also soggy. Just everything about it was soggy. But otherwise service was amazing but ultimately food was the problem

South Viet is a gem that needs to be revisited. Every bite was a hit of flavor that made me feel like I was on my own quaint tu de monde. I felt like I received the same love and care for my food one would get from their parent or grandparent. No need to board a plane to the Land of the Blue Dragon when you’ve got the real deal here. Truly one of a kind and worth a trip.
