We definitely got here at the right time. Around 11:00 Got super busy shortly after we sat down. The best Reuben! My husband and I just shared it and with the heaping fries it was the perfect amount. We often share meals because most establishments give huge meals so it is nice when we split a meal for them to bring out an extra plate without having to ask or be shunned for doing so. I’m not a big fry gal but these shoestring fries were crispy to perfection! Shane our waiter was on it! Friendly and fast service. The Paloma and Vodka Grapefuit cocktails were excellent as well! We will be back!! This place is a gem!

The food was delicious! The staff was courteous and kind! The only thing that I would complain about were the amount of flies we had to keep swatting away from our food. For reference, we ate inside of the restaurant, not at their outdoor seating. Be sure to try a black cherry cola!

My husband, baby and mother-in-law stopped in for lunch yesterday and it was an amazing experience! We sat outside and had a great server! We got the shrimp tacos, double cheeseburger and the Ruben and no one had any complaints!! We will definitely be back to try more items off the menu!

Most of the food was great. The Brussels Sprouts and grilled cheese sandwich were awesome! Stay away from the broccoli and cheese appetizer, they should rename it “Broccoli and Yellow Water” because the cheese was basically liquid. Service was super friendly and accurate.

Been here a handful of times over the past years and this past time will be my last.
Brought a friend from out of town to have a quick lunch while we walked the shops up and down the area. Ordered real light; hush puppies, mixed drinks, soup/sandwich combo, and grits. The hush puppies were decent. Sweet. Southern style. But then the grits was this complete amalgamatous blob of goop. The mixed drinks were okay but the sandwich was dried out. It was absolutely embarrassing to take someone to this place.
But the food wasn’t the worst part. The service… Lack there of. I know this is the trend with most places since COVID, service everywhere is laughable. I get a chuckle out of other reviews that actually say service was amazing. The wait staff stood around the bar the whole time flirting with one another, they couldn’t be bothered to check in with us or the other patrons having lunch. The young ladies stood around chuckling it up with the male wait staff/cooks, while diners are waiting for drinks or to-go boxes. Surprisingly, our waiter didn’t even ask if we wanted another drink. I’m so disappointed with the level of restaurant service just about everywhere in Winchester. Waterstreet just joined the masses of places I refuse to return to.

This was a great place for brunch on a Sunday. We came here after a four hour drive to the area. Menus items are excellent, the burger was great and so too the avocado toast. Plenty of dessert choices and again very good. Parking is on the street or in parking lots but you should be able to find a space.

It was a beautiful day for a road trip to Winchester, VA. We were looking forward to enjoying lunch outside in the November sunshine. Our first choice didn’t pan out and we then stopped at Water Street Kitchen – which should have been our first choice all along! We enjoyed our lunch on the Walking Mall and did a little people watching. Our lunches were very good (except I forgot to request lightly toasted on my Ruben), the fries were hot and plentiful. Our server was great! The receipt says Sizzler (18). He took very good care of us. My daughter enjoyed the Chicken Caesar wrap. Not the least expensive lunch we’ve ever had but we enjoyed our Water Street Kitchen experience.

Excellent location. You find your own table but staff will assist. Good food selection for brunch. Large portions- we couldn’t even finish it. They also have seating outside.
