We had peppered goat with plantains and fufu (I subbed fufu for rice) and beef skewers. They were soooooo delicious! The goat so tender and the plantains sweet but firm. We also wanted to try something new so we tried Achu (taro root dough with a yellow soup w/meat). Definitely not what I’m used to so I wouldn’t order that again. That doesn’t mean it was bad, I’ve just never had it and the flavor profile was way more bitter than I can enjoy.

Randomly started craving something homey and delicious from the diaspora . As a Jamaican who loves African food, I was excited when someone recommended this place and even happier when I saw they had Suya on the menu. I was greeted the moment I walked in and the staff had such warm energy with really good recommendations.

The suya was flavorful and tender, and the pepper sauce was so good I ended up asking for some to go so I could add it to my leftovers. I will definitely be back to try the peppered goat!

Cameroon restaurant. The owner and chef lady were really nice. Very patient and friendly with me and my family even though we rushed in and asked for the food to be prepared quickly since we were on a time crunch.

We ordered suya with fried plantains. About $20 per plate, but boy was it good and they give you a lot of food per plate. The sause was delicious and very spicy. I loved the whole meal.

There were not that many people there, but I think it’s because not too many people know about this place yet. It looks small on the outside but it’s much bigger when you get inside.

I’ll come back and recommend this restaurant to other people. They said they do catering too.

TOP NOTCH! The owners are very friendly. I’ve been craving Eru and Fufu corn for a year since I left Cameroon. The Eru is just like local Cameroonian cuisine, very authentic and fresh. Great portion size, taste, and I love the tender beef and spicy pepe ❤️‍ My cravings are satisfied but the only issue is I’m really missing Cameroon

Mad I forgot to take pictures prior to eating but everything was delicious. The staff was phenomenal and educated us on each dish we questioned. I got beef egusi (i think thats how its spelled) with futu and a side of plantains. Flavor in every bite that did not disappoint. I also had an African drink it was pinkish/red dont remember the name but I tell you I cant wait to go back and order 2 next time. 48 Spices got a new regular cause im coming back before the month is out!

I always get my uber eats here . When I tell you this is the most flavorful delicious African food you will ever eat believe me . Only food cooked with passion tastes this delicious and delightful. When I have a hard day and need something I know will make it better I eat this . I craved it and ate it while I was pregnant and it was one of the few foods I could eat while I was pregnant that helped my nausea go away . If you look in the photos the grill looks so cool . The peppered goat is the freshest most tender fall off the bone meat . The pork is the best way I have ever tasted pork cooked and the orange sauce is amazing and so complexly flavored. This food could not be mimiced or copied it is one of a kind . If I’m sick I eat this and it always makes me feel better . I’m so grateful okc has somewhere like this this food has a special place in my heart and I’m not African by any means but I really appreciate this amazing culture .<3

We have seen the sign on the storefront and decided to try it. It did not disappoint. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They explained what things were. We had the soya and the fufu and eru. I had D’jino to drink. Everything was great. Everything was pleasantly spicy (but the spicy sauce served with the soya was… wow! LOL). We will be back.

Disappointed in the price of Suya given to me today. First they told me it’s going to take 5 minutes to be ready when I got to the restaurant and ended up taking 40 minutes. I parked outside in cold for that duration and no one had the time to inform me that the order was ready. I had called 30 minutes before to make the order. If they find a different place, I will never buy anything from this restaurant

Delicious food. Amazing service. Kind people. What more can you ask for?

Walking into 48 Spices you’re greeted with an aroma of robust flavors and bright and smiling faces!

The music is flowing in the background but not over powering conversations.

If you don’t know what to order? Just ask the owners and all of their recommendations are superb!

Our family had the kabobs that are so flavorful and not over salted like some places! We enjoyed digging into our FuFu and Egusi the traditional way( with our hands!). The egusi had beef and when I tell you all 48 spices were included, please believe it! So So Good.

The hospitality of the owners were unmatched. I hate that we had to leave because it was just THAT GOOD & the ambience leaves you feeling like you’re right at home with your family.

10/10. Please go!
