I come all the way from Harlingen Texas every time to eat here! Seriously though they are way better than Harlingen Texas Texas road house! I hate Harlingen Texas road house! But Weslaco Texas road house you will always experience a great experience in food and customer service! I promise you that you will never have a horrible experience there like u will in Harlingen! Here you always see a manager come to your table more than two times to check up! Servers are amazing! Back of the house you guys are amazing on cooking my food food amazing! Every single thing we had tonight was outstandingly delicious and fresh. The waiting line was full inside and outside the building, good thing we made a reservation online. We came here with our family that came in town to visit, and this place is not suitable for a group bigger than 5 people. We had 9 people and it was terrible with no space to eat comfortably. The food we ordered took about 1 hour and 40 minutes to come out and when it came out they had 3 orders wrong, and some of the other orders were cold. I asked for a ribeye steak to be put in a burger bun and they wouldn’t do it. The manager himself said he wouldn’t do no special orders even if I paid extra. I asked and explained to charge me extra and he declined. It was a terrible experience overall especially since we go out pretty often its not good when a place can not accommodate you or your family. The waitress also was a bit rude and acted like she didn’t want to even serve us much less take our order. It seemed like she was annoyed to be working. As always customer service is the best thing you can receive from a restaurant and we didn’t get that here. Sorry to say that we were all extremely disappointed. After getting our order not eating much of it, paying to bill we ended going to another restaurant.

Love me some TXRH! Always order the country fried chicken with white gravy, mashed potatoes and corn & it’s 100/100 every time. So big & filling. Also ordered the steak with mushrooms, country fried chicken with loaded potato and mac&cheese, country fried steak with mashed potatoes and mac&cheese, and a steak with mushrooms and onions. My family do not recommend the mac&cheese btw. nonetheless, Great place to enjoy quality time with family & friends!

If you have a group of 6 or more, this is not the place to go. We got on the wait list to be seated together, a concept this establishment does not comprehend, as we were seated in two separate booths. Some of the food was good while others were not fully cooked. The waitress was rude when we informed her we were missing a side item and she never came back for refills. If you’re looking to have a celebratory meal with a “large” group, this is not the place.

I was happy to try out this texas roadhouse location, being brand new to the area. We are from Edinburg, so we’re doing the most just to eat jaja
1st. The restaurant is neat and well put. Tables are clean. Food was delicious no doubt! I just felt uncomfortable and not given the attentive service because of the way my designated waitress treated me when she 1st sat us down. I responded in english to her question about what we would like to drink,but then me being tex mex I followed up by saying “los niños gustarian- and she cut me off onto saying I dont speak Spanish. I was just like oh okay. So my husband pretty much did the rest of the talking for the remainder of our lunch, * he noticed I got bother) and to end our tap she accidentally charged us more ( items we didn’t order) than what it was. Manager was really nice. He helped us resolve that. But I’m just wondering. Why work and area where you’re not fluent in both languages? No disrespect intended Just my experience.

I ordered my burger medium rare and this is what I got!! On top of half of my portion of fries missing. Then let’s not mention how they forgot about us at the to go window because we said we asked for the drink with no ice and an extra ranch when ordering and I didn’t get it that at the window.. First and last time I will ever be coming to this location!

Our first visit. The food was very good. The servers were attentive and pleasant. But the noise level was really loud. The place was packed, the music was turned up and it was competing with the high volume of conversation. I’m sure the majority of customers were fine with the sound level, but my dining companion and I thought it detracted from enjoying the meal and we were glad to finish and move on. The restaurant is obviously popular. A noisy environment isn’t a problem for everyone.
