The food from this place at its price point is a solid bank for your buck. Good jerk chicken tho id ask for the gravy on my rice instead so i can taste more of that good jerk. I got the lunch special which comes with rice and peas, coslaw, chicken and a drink at $13.55. The place looks okay, nothing special but perfect to grab a quick satisfying lunch. I’d definitely recommend and come back to this place.

I visited Cravins recently. I ordered a curry goat dinner and chicken roti. The prices are fair and their daily specials are a great deal.
The ladies behind the counter were lovely. They were very kind and pleasant.
The curry chicken roti was very nice. It was a very generous portion with plenty gravy. The curry itself was nice and balanced. The potatos were perfectly succulent, soft and seasoned nicely – nothing was overly salty.
The curry goat dinner was OK. The portion was generous! I actuallyvran out of rice before finishing all the meat. I would have it again but would not go out of my way for it. The rice and peas could have been a little more tender as the kidney beans had more bite to them than I like. The curry goat was seasoned well and had nice flavour but it could have been more tender.
I’d like to try more of their food in the future if I am in the area. Parking was easy.

You can tell the quality of an establishment by how tender their pork is, and this place had succulent, tender pork. The spice blend was perfect, not too hot, not too mild. I had it with rice, beans and coleslaw which was tasty and perfectly filling for lunch. I gobbled it so quickly because it was too good and I’ll be back again soon. So delicious

I haven’t been here for a few months for lunch. I went in today because I had a craving and orders Ox tail, with rice and peas and Coleslaw. I spent $18.64 for lunch and got only 3 pieces of Ox Tail.. I pretty much spent 18 on rice, peas and coleslaw. I know costs of everything have gone up but I would expect to get more than 3 small pieces of meat.

My friends and I all ordered the oxtail meal that came with either coleslaw or chickpeas plus rice. All my friends and I could say was that we wasted $20 on a mouthful of salt.
The redeeming part of the experience was, after we told the employee how salty the oxtail was, she came out with complementary jerk chicken to make up for the salty meal. The chicken was quite good and juicy with a touch of spice. Should I ever go back again, I will choose the chicken.

This was my first time trying Cravins. I was simply looking to take out. My first impression when I walked in I was greeted by good vibe music. It has a nice atmosphere but there was no hot food nor service at the front desk. Not a good look in my opinion. After about a minute or two, a dark skin woman in her 20s came to serve me. She wasn’t very friendly when I asked a few questions about whether or not I could get two meats in a dinner plate and the size options. After I placed my order, she went to the back to put everything together. You cannot visually see any food being prepared. I order an ox tail dinner which comes with rice and peas and coleslaw. It was tasty and served hot. The meat portion was on the smaller size but over it was filled with all that rice. Overall, I’d give this place 3.5/5. There are better places to be had. The price was average and fair.

The same old restaurant, it just got a new sign. Staffs are very friendly and positive with full of happy energy, portions are huge no matter what you get, and foods are delicious. Please ask for hot sauce, it is worthy to challenge!

We got a lot of different dishes to try. We had the oxtail stew, the curry chicken, the curry goat, and the jerk pork. They were all so tasty we finished it so fast. My favourite is the curry chicken, but the oxtail is close.

As for atmosphere it isn’t anything super fancy.

Food was exceptional. Oxtails very tender with spices done just how i like it, salty with a good amount of kick. Some do it sweet and I’m usually not a fan. Roti was a little to saucy but flavor and skin was great. Jerk chicken had a nice kick to it, but not overpowering. The decor needs a bit work, too dark and hot. It looked like the place was closed if it weren’t for the OPEN sign. Will definitely be coming to this joint when i need my carribean fix. Should be 3.5 star!!!!
