I don’t care how 1980 this place is, the food is delicious and affordable. The chips and salsa, is a great salsa, green chili is different from any other its amazing IT is HOT, and enchilada sauce is spectacular.

I paid $8 for a tiny burrito with barely anything in it that tasted worse than the $1 burritos at Taco Bell. They used the absolute cheapest ingredients and it was so gross I spit it out and didn’t finish it. I was excited to find a taco shop with a drive through here which seems hard to come by but this is not good!

First time trying this place from word of mouth review.
Must be a different cook or something because the experience was 60/40.
The chicken was grilled and had great salted flavor.
The burrito wrap quality wasn’t the greatest.
The green chili tasted like heated chunky water. Needs a good chicken stock, chopped grilled onions, seasonings and citrus. I saw the peppers, but was missing the flavor notes.
Quality food for the price wasn’t good this day.
The cheerful drive-thru person was the shiniest star of the meal! ✨⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Get the wrap and the green chili up in quality and people will flock to this place! The service is great!

I was really disappointed this time around. The table had hair on it. In one of the booths there was 2 children, one had his feet on the wall and table. Out of 3 of us I ended up getting sick. I will not be going there in a long time. It used to be my favorite place. I was really disappointed

5 Stars overall because Taco House has been a staple on Littleton Boulevard for probably 50 years. I’m one of those restaurant connoisseurs who likes an occasional high-end, wait on me hand and foot, striking flavor and presentation place, but my budget does not usually afford that more than once a year. So I more often seek good, tasty food in a clean and comfortable venue with fair service for the price that I can continue to go back to regularly without having to take out a second mortgage! Taco House is one of those places for me.

The place looks like it’s been around a long time, and I was looking forward to having some decent Tex-Mex. My meal wasn’t good. At best, it tasted like bland high school cafeteria food.

Even with premade ingredients they somehow mess it all up. This is not a home cooked TexMex place; this is an assembler of premade ingredients they order from Shamrock. Basic seasonings miss the mark, the sauces taste flat and out of a can, and the meats are bland and boring. The tacos we got came on unheated tortillas with wilty green lettuce and dehydrated cheese, leaving so much to be desired in the end. For the price, I expected more quality.
I get that it’s been around a long time and there is some nostalgia associated with it, but the food is outright bland, boring, and overpriced.

My family was a fan of Taco House in Thornton back in the 80’s. We were happy to hear about this Taco House. Everything was just as good as we remember.

First time eating there on Thursday spent $25 and some change today is Saturday I have sick as dog with food poisoning still. I don’t believe food is cooked fresh but only once a week. I will not recommend to even an enemy. I would like my money back I still have the receipt and will be calling the health department.
