I stopped by Chipotle today and was honestly blown away by how good the chicken burrito was. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and had that fresh-off-the-grill flavor that Chipotle is known for. They packed it with the right amount of rice, beans, and corn, and the ingredients tasted super fresh/delicious.
It’s a bit pricey, but I guess inflation is here to stay.
The tortilla was warm and soft, and the burrito was wrapped really well — didn’t fall apart halfway through like some places. The portion was generous too; definitely worth the money.
The staff were quick, friendly, and didn’t rush me while I picked my toppings. The whole place was clean and smelled amazing.
The only complaint was that none of the workers at this Palm Desert location seemed like they wanted to be there….
If you’re craving a solid burrito, get the chicken. This was easily one of the best Chipotle meals I’ve had in a while. I’ll definitely be back!

Went with my daughter around 730pm Monday 4/14. Had THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE by according to the receipt “Wendy” . There was a family of 3 eating in. Saw 1 other employee, 1 gal came in behind us. It was not busy. “Wendy” was visibly annoyed in tone & facial expressions to do her job tonight, from the moment she saw us. Like I said it was not busy. She washed her hands, thanks. But no hair net? No gloves? The counter was filthy! Do you need a food habdlers card to work here? Curious to know what your health dept rating is. She slapped our bowls together sloppily (see pics) We asked for pinto beans, she gave us extra black beans. I let it go as I had to eat to take my insulin by 8pm, we’d pick them out rather than make her more irritated. We both had chicken bowls, she said there was only enough chicken on her line for 1 bowl: She eyerolled & dumped some chicken out to her left my right and finished the bowls with fresh container of chicken. She made little eye contact w/us. I had to wait until she served the gal behind us to ask for my receipt which she eye rolled again and ripped it off hastily. I remained polite, because I work in food service for over 10yrs. She made our whole dining experience miserable and we love CHIPOTLE. We rarely eat out, when we do, it’s a treat and we frequent the PS location, which is immaculate and all the staff say welcome. My daughter had been looking forward to this all day We frequent the 1 in PS when we do go. My eldest daughter used to work for this Co…I am APPALLED. We will NEVER return to this location. To top it off, our bowls were cold. Do better ‘Wendy’ . We’ve all bad days, I get it but this was unacceptable customer service.

This review is specifically addressed to the female employee at the counter who was working today, November 6, 2025, around 11:30 am. Any patron seeking to wait for a fresh batch of steak is allowed to do so; this is our prerogative as paying customers. The fact that you forced this customer into taking chicken vs. allowing them to wait for steak (all day if they wanted to!) is ludicrous. There was no one in line and therefore zero sense of urgency. If we are paying for food, we have the right to stand there all day if we want to. To force chicken on a person requesting to wait for a new batch of steak is not only rude but counter-intuitive to customer service. I’m writing this review on behalf of a family member considering they were so shocked by your actions as they unfolded that they didn’t speak up. Do better!!

My son went to this location after school on Friday 2/6 at around 3 ish and the hespanic woman working was completely rude to him. She filled his bowl with bean juice and barley gave him any rice or meat. She was COMPLETELY RUDE to him and his friends. She then overcharged him $16. Please get ride if these incompetent and rude people working in your establishment.

I was looking forward to my lunch from Chipotle, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. My wife picked up tacos for me, but when she got home, I was disappointed to see how small the portion of meat was. For the price and Chipotle’s usual standards, I expected better.
