Deli George has been my favorite sandwich shop for over 15 yrs…lost track honestly. I just went to the new shop downtown and was excited to check it out. Let me first say, the sandwiches have always been pricey but I was willing to pay because they were huge and filled with so much goodness. I got my favorite sandwich turkey over Italy which cost $16 bucks without tip. I was sooo disappointed when I opened the sandwich and saw two pieces of thick turkey unlike the old style which came with a ton of turkey. I have to say, I feel ripped off. It’s robbery to charge that much and put that little of meat on a sandwich! I’m not sure I’d even go back at that price and cheaply made sandwich 🙁

Had lunch here with co-workers and all 4 of our meals were awesome. Very good quality ingredients used to make everything and perfect combinations too. I had the Apple Gorgonzola salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was cooked perfectly and not dry and the raspberry vinaigrette complimented all of the other flavors of the salad very well

This is a place tucked into downtown on Broadway a sit hard to find. Just get to the Marriott courtyard and you will see it. The food is very different with great sandwiches and BBQ. The inside is a bit dated but that is the way they like it. They are truly different and their food had a let of taste to it.

Really good selection of true deli sandwiches. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Want to avoid chain sub stores and fried foods? Give this a shot. I recommend the pastrami on rye.

We popped into Deli George just by chance and were so happy with our choice!
We had the Ruben (NY style), turkey bacon avocado, and the turkey sandwich. The portions were great, everything was so fresh, and they were able to make changes to the turkey sandwich for the kids. They have nice, clean restrooms, a large menu, great drink variety and chill atmosphere. We came the day Art in the Park started so it wasn’t very busy but I hear they can get very busy on a typical day 🙂

This place has become our number one sandwich spot in Boise. We absolutely love it! We came in on Saint Patrick’s day for a Ruben and have been back once a week since. HIGHLY recommend the Bacon Steakin’ Mushroom, the L.A.P.D and the Delicioso. We walk down once a week, get a couple drinks and try a new sandwich and haven’t been let down once. It’s very rare for my girlfriend to not make any modification on an order, but she orders everything as is here because it’s all great! Also they have very friendly staff, Austin was super helpful on our second visit and answered any dumb questions we had. He made us feel like regulars on our second visit in and we appreciate that!

The problem i have with this place is every damn thing on the menu is amazing. So i want to shout out to the crew here, because i always give them a few that are on my mind and they guide me towards the best choice with truly thoughtful and wise counsel!

Stopped to grab lunch on a quick trip to the city as this was close to the hotel. Excellent food, great service, and a very cool atmosphere also pretty well priced. They also have beer, wine, and canned cocktails. Definitely worth a stop if you are looking for good gourmet sandwiches! We will absolutely stop back the next time we are in town!

What a cool find! Kind of busy parking lot with the Chic-fil-A and Wendy’s, but definitely a welcome change to the traditional chain options. Pretty fast service and flavorful salads. The turkey bacon avacado sandwich was delicious. The grilled cheese was beautiful, but lacked that buttery rich bite. The chicken bacon salad and stuffed avacado salads were also fantastic!
