Visited the New Rita’s today walked up to the window like normal and seen how big it was inside then the worker was like come on inside… What Rita’s has an inside? Yup. So freaking cool. So inside I went and wow it’s so nice I attached a photo of the ordering counter. Def recommend the staff is very nice and it’s well built inside. Hope this helps you make up your mind in stopping by this new location.

I love the staff at this place. They’re always super sweet. I love the slushies this place makes! But I aggressively hate this poor judgement of a drive through!!! I drive a standard sized pickup. Not long. Not huge. Normal. And every. Single. Time. I have to back up and take a weirdly sharp corner just to get to the window to pay the kid because there’s fake plants and a seating area in the way (that I’ve never seen anyone sit at before) and I know I know “well it’s a truck— that’s why” NOPE I’ve seen mini vans having to do the same thing… it’s just annoying. Everything else is great! But that in the way for no reason seating area is so frustrating.

Unfortunately their custard is not fresh from the machine, it is put in the freezer with sell by dates. Custard like this is normally 30% off at other locations. The staff refused to make a pint with fresh custard.

This is the second time I’ve been so sick after eating their ice cream at this place. I tried a Blendini something new and it tasted off but figured it was just how blended tasted. Woke up in the middle of the night so sick and have been running to the toilet all night! I just can’t go back. I think the first time was eh maybe something else but no, it’s the same type of stomach ache and running to the bathroom. Be careful out there.

A much-needed dessert stop after eating ribs at Uncle D’s Grill. Our group of soccer players wanted a tasty dessert and Rita’s easily answered the call. Our server, Kayleigh, was polite and professional, and helped us order what we wanted. It was delicious.

Multiple times I’ve gone and ordered and ended up recieving a wrong flavor. When I’ve told them I recieved the wrong ice flavor I get told “this is all we have”. Why can’t you tell me you’re out of stock I’m ordering?

Fantastic service is evident at Rita’s. What an incredible custard/ frozen ice treat! I returned the next day after requesting root beer ice and sure enough they had it in stock. California, MD you’re really lucky to have this gem in your community! Great customer satisfaction!!!!
