Old school atmosphere! I was able to have salmon cakes for breakfast…not since I was a child!! They were delicious. Home fries were fried, not greasy, not burnt and soft/crunchy! Hard to get that perfect texture. Not a 50 item menu, basic simple and a good cook makes it a great meal!

Stopped in for breakfast and wasn’t disappointed. Everything was cooked to perfection especially the hash browns. The service was attentive and very helpful. We will definitely be back to try the pancakes. Very reasonable too.

Today April 27th I went to stop in at Hatties and learned it had closed down. Every time I came into Henderson, or Durham or even Raleigh I would always stop in. This place had the most amazing breakfast. The owner was so nice and friendly. And the waitress she was a hoot! I would spend hours in there talking to them while my husband was at Kerr Lake fishing with the BFL. It breaks my heart this place closed down and I did not get to say good bye! But most of all no more amazing coffee and breakfast and chatting with wonderful people!

Rotten ceiling, one hour wait, nice staff, but none of that matters if the food is good. The food taste like it was made from the bottom shelf great value Walmart food. My Philly cheese looked so sad. Three wings had no meat rather fried nicely. Also was starving so the food should have tasted good.
