Best Indian food I ever had. Everything was perfect: samosas, naan, dips, main dish. Mango lassi drink really blew me away. You can’t go wrong with this one.

This is the second time I have ordered with them via Uber Eats. Utterly disappointed, once again. The ratio of onions to sauce in the paneer tikka is completely off balance. The sauce itself was good, but the impossible amount of chunky onions ruined it. There’s nothing to dunk your naan into.
The vegetable korma is shameful. I would not be surprised if the veggies came from a deep freeze. I tasted one bite, and it is inedible. It is also super sweet for some reason. Normally, I would not write such a harsh review without talking to people first. I am sure they have lovely dishes and that their good reviews are valid. The dishes I mentioned are not up to scratch, though, and neither is the Chana Masala which I ordered the last time. The sambals were also an absolute insult.

We stayed here for two nights and ate at this restaurant every evening. The naan is incredibly delicious and definitely a must-try! On top of that, the curry is really tasty.
Plus, the prices are unbeatable! Definitely worth a visit if you’re staying in the area!

If food takes precedence over fancy location or aesthetics then this is the Indian restaurant for you. The two lamb dishes we tried were perfect: the korma was rich and creamy with the right amount of cardamon and cashew coming through, while the rogan josh had a kick without it overpowering the deep warm spices. The naan too was excellent. There were vegetarian, seafood and chicken dishes too and all are reasonably priced. While most patrons seemed to order take aways, eating in was a great option. We even had a small view of the ocean from our window table. If you love Indian food, you’re in for a treat at Mount Everest Restaurant.

They were open on Christmas day which was a bonus as the alternative would have been takeaways. The food was decent but because we eat India food quite frequently we have a reference point to what we enjoy and our pallets have been conditioned to what we like. I would give them a fair rating.

Ate there today, if you come from Cape Town and you know that quality of food then you will be disappointed. The tikka hard no taste and was dry. Korma look like a creamy soup, butter chicken was okay. Overall, overpriced for the food that you get

Love the bunny chow, the samosa (i dont eat samosa excpet this one because it is so protein filling less potatoes) the briyani is good. Manggo lassi is good.
