The grilled beef steak in spicy sauce has the right amount of acidity and saltiness which reminds me of the food I had in Thailand. The fried thin noodles is my favourite dish and the prawns are so juicy and crunchy! Fried rice has milder flavours but the seasoning is still on point. I am lucky to have tried 101 Thai Kitchen and I will be back very very soon to try their other dishes.

If you’re in the mood for some authentic Thai food, this is the place to be! Just a heads up, it can be quite spicy, so keep that in mind. Definitely worth a try, highly recommended! Enjoy!

Very authentic and delicious – finally it’s not just sweet chilly. This is proper heat ️
Tried both soups, they are nice. I prefer Tom yum soup, the sour and spicy combination was amazing
My favourites are catfish (dry & spicy), fish salad (spicy & sweet) and dessert
Auntie’s special chicken curry was really spicy (after the chief reduce the spiciness) but yummy!
The fish curry was nice, but because mackerel is fishy fish, I found the curry was not for me
Tried boat fried rice for first time then went for sticky rice last time – both went well with dishes

There are so many restaurants in London it’s rare to find one really unique and special! I love this place – will definitely be back. The food was delicious, really fun to try Isaan and northern style Thai dishes.

Great local spot – a little taste of Thailand in West London. This is very authentic Northern Thai food with fresh and delicious seafood specials. I had the sea bass and pad kaprao. It was really flavourful and reminded me of the food I ate in Thailand. The staff are friendly and really hospitable.

This used to be my go to local Thai restaurant, but a recent visit was hugely disappointing. We ordered a chicken Penang curry and some chicken satay and rice noodles with Thai basil and prawns. The Penang curry was lacking in flavour but the most offensive thing was the chewy chicken. It also lacked the complex aromatic flavours that used to be in their curry. My noodles were terrible. They were mushy and overcooked and there was no fresh Thai basil in the dish. I ate a few mouthfuls but then sent it back to the kitchen asking them to add the Thai basil. I thought they would make me a fresh dish, but instead they appeared to add some frozen Thai basil to the dish which was distinctly frozen as it didn’t have the pungent flavour of fresh Thai basil. The basil also tasted slightly off the way it does when it’s been frozen for a period of time. It was not edible. When the waitress came to collect our food, she didn’t ask why I hadn’t eaten it. I didn’t bother saying anything because the whole meal was fundamentally disappointing from start to finish, such that we just decided we’d never go back. The chicken satay was underwhelming. I’m not sure what’s happened here, perhaps they have a new chef but it’s a real shame as it used to be really good.

Anyone that has been to Thailand and enjoyed the food, must visit this eatery. An absolutely authentic Thai experience. The food is full of flavour! The staff are pleasant and welcoming. Massive variety offered, together with an adequate drinks selection.
