Great food! “Don’t judge a book by its cover”! Looks like a hole in the wall from the outside but inside you will find some great Mexican food!! I got chicken fajitas and they weee fresh and really good–not too greasy! The queso fundido was a fun appetizer to share! Kids got fish tacos and shrimp tacos–3 tacos were plenty for them! Husband got the chicken burrito smothered in green chile. So good! Salsa and homemade tortilla chips were great!!!! Service was fast, friendly!! And on top of that they offer a 10% off military discount! I can’t believe we haven’t found this place before now! We will be back!! Authentic Mexican “feel” to the atmosphere!

AMAZINGLY AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD! We’re from Springfield, Missouri and were looking for a good Mexican Restaurant and we definitely found one! Tamales, enchiladas, queso, freshly made chips and chimichangas were so delicious and large portions! We’ll make this one of our stops anytime we come back! Our server Jesus was also wonderful and so friendly!

We were greeted and served by an excellent waitress who made sure we always had what we needed so 10/10 for that.
Food was also really good, portions are large and they have tortas, which I’ve been wanting for a while now! Price was great, most dishes are under 10 bucks so definitely a winner for treating groups of people.
Overall, a great find and with Walgreens next door, good place to have dinner while you wait on prescriptions.

Will definitely come here again, especially on Taco Tuesday. Great plate size when it comes to rice and beans. The rice and beans are very similar to how my mom makes then and they have great flavor. Chips and salsa are great and the salsa is kid friendly. My wife had the carne asada plate and I will say it’s really different from other Mexican restaurants and a little less meat too but still good enough. The horchata is more on the cinnamon side on taste and also a little bit more creamy then liquid but still ok with me. I had the carne asada tacos and they were awesome which is why I said I will definitely be coming on taco Tuesday. The flour tortillas are a bit different then other restaurants too but still good. No sure on the size of the avocado, we asked to have it on the side and never got it but it wasnt that big of a deal. Our server Alexandra, was kind and very helpful even with small talk about the restaurant. I can’t wait to try other meals and will write another review on other plate meals. The price was about average maybe a little less. I will say one bad thing about the visit was, sadly enough you get charge for extra tortillas. It was an extra 1.50 for 3. Enjoy our pictures. Please note that we got there right when it opened so that’s why it was empty.

I love this place. My husband and I go probably once a week or every other week. It’s always amazing. I usually get the spinach enchiladas or carnitas burrito. Best salsa in town. To top it all off they have a deal on Tuesdays for a pitcher of margaritas for 11.00. If you are ever in this area I highly recommend this place!

The restaurant wasn’t crowded on a Friday night, it was clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating to our groups food allergy requests. The margaritas were good, but the food was delicious! I highly recommend the Molcajete! Be prepared for it to be a heater at your table, and it will easily feed 2 people. We’ll definitely be back.

I have ordered door dashed here for a while. Today, I ordered and we got the same thing we always get. and they screwed it up. I ordered the chicken adobo burrito smothered in red sauce. I also asked for red sauce on the side. They only gave me red sauce on the side my burrito wasn’t smothered but what I wanted was red salsa to go with chips. The rice had super hard clumps like it wasn’t all cooked you could hear the crunch as you bit down on the rice. Got my son a quesadilla and only came with brown wilted lettuce no beans and rice. Ordered the guacamole appetizer and it was brown like the Avocados were too ripe and you see the black spots in it. For 45.00 I would expect something better like the plates I’ve received in the past. Very disappointed in them today.
