My son and I recently tried Mi Mexican for the first time. I’ve been hearing pretty good reviews. Its packed a lot of times when passing by.
During our visit, it was at an odd time, early afternoon on a Saturday which can explain why it was empty. However, our waitress took good care of us. I do think the food could have come out just a tad sooner. Overall it was good. The food met expectations. Both my son and I agreed it was reasonably priced and the food was good. My entire family and I will be back soon.

Mi Mexico in Powder Springs, Georgia is one of our most frequented. Mexican restaurants! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My husband had the grande burrito with shrimp, covered in queso and topped with avocado, and it was absolutely delicious. I ordered the al pastor tacos with sautéed pineapple, onions, and lime, and they were bursting with flavor—some of the best tacos I’ve had in the area.
The staff at Mi Mexico is always friendly, attentive, and quick, which makes the dining experience even better. We also love the atmosphere and festive decorations that make it feel warm and inviting.
If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food in Powder Springs or the West Cobb area, I highly recommend trying Mi Mexico. Great service, great food, and a great local spot!

The first time I went I asked if they had Cadillac margaritas. Food was good. Disappointed in margarita it had a taste I did not like. Second time I went I asked that Grand Marnier be put on the side. I received amaretto on the side not grand mariner. I told Server that I wanted grand mariner She sent bartender.
Bartender brought it to me. I was charged for a shot of grandmarnier. ♀️ 3rd time we went I looked at the menu with drinks there Cadillac margaritas are with amaretto and Grand Marnier. I asked to have no amaretto just grandmarnier. Margarita was very good. I do not like the taste of amaretto. That is why the first time I didn’t care for the margarita.
The food was good, but our last time we went there, it was extremely cold outside. No heat was put on. Everyone had sweaters and jackets on inside the restaurant which I was surprised that they didn’t turn the heat on.
Salsa is very hot so I asked for a mild one which was good or I asked for pico de gallo as well which I didn’t receive.
Yes, I will return to this restaurant. Now that I know about margaritas how they make it. Yes, service can be slow. Seems like they were too busy talking instead of taking care of their table for my last visit.

This is another of my favorite Mexican restaurants. They have great daily specials until 3pm. My favorite day is Taco Tuesday were all tacos are $1.75.
The servers are very attentive and remember your name after a few visits.

The food is fresh and tastes amazing! Everything is delicious. I ate here twice in the same day. Guacamole is chunky. The salsa served with meals isn’t jarred! I’m pretty sure it’s Chile D’Arbol salsa. And the drinks they are gooooood!!!!

Well, I was coming back to update my review here, but it seems the restaurant managed to get that done themselves. I’ve been here 3 times now, the first experience was FANTASTIC. Helpful staff, great food, was our new fave Mexican place. Second visit the food wasn’t great burnt fajitas and just so-so experience from the staff, but hey, everyone has an off night. The third time though, and the reason they got my review removed is because my fajitas came cooked with a “special” ingredient, a huge wadded up hunk of plastic cooked in with my chicken, onion, and peppers. I tried calling for 30min to get this addressed and they wouldn’t answer their phone, so I posted a negative review (that they had deleted the next day). I called back to discuss this with a manager, who seemed mildly concerned. He asked me how he could make it right and I told him I wanted a full refund because it was the grossest think I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. He agreed to the refund, and I told him I’d be up to get it soon. I went up a few hours later and introduced myself, and he was about as unconcerned about the situation as one could be, didn’t apologize, gave me a cash refund and sent me on my way. I figured I’d be decent and update my review indicating I got a full refund, only to discover he had contacted Google to have my review and pictures removed. Not only is this a place fore horrible service, and potential surprises in your food, but they’re dishonest too. If I could give negative stars, I would.
