I give this Tokyo Joe’s location 5 ⭐️!
Yesterday, I placed an order through the Tokyo Joe’s app from this location. When I got home, I noticed that my order had the wrong noodles. I called the store, thinking they had accidentally messed it up — mistakes happen! ♀️
The girl I spoke to was so kind, and honestly, I felt bad calling because I didn’t want to come across as a complaining “Karen” lol. But it turns out I had actually made the mistake — I must’ve accidentally selected the wrong option when placing the order.
Since I couldn’t eat the noodles I received, I asked if I could just buy a side of the correct ones. When I went to pick them up, I was so pleasantly surprised: not only did they not charge me for the side, but they completely remade my entire order — and even included a sweet little handwritten note on the lid .
I’m sure to them it was no big deal, but their kindness and generosity genuinely turned around what had been a long, kinda crappy Monday. Especially considering they weren’t even at fault — I was.
I already liked Tokyo Joe’s, but this location in particular stands out. Not only do they have great customer service, but their kindness really made a difference for me. And honestly, kindness can be hard to come by these days.
So thank you to all the employees at the Troutman location — you guys are awesome!

They gave us great service. Store was definitely one of the cleanest restaurants that we’ve been to recently. Also that Bahn Mi bowl hit the spot! So good we’re definitely coming back! Everybody was so kind, can’t wait for our next meal here!!

The food is fast casual and there is a good range of choices. For the rice bowls, a lot of rice, but the toppings are fresh and tasty. The sushi is OK for a fast casual place (versus a full sushi restaurant). The staff is always very nice. This is a good place to stop by with friends for a quick bite and conversation.

This Tokyo Joe’s is by far the best in town hands-down! Every time I go in there, they know my name they know my order even the cook says hello! Had to repeat order three times. I had to remind of drink two more times. Once finally ordered I still wasn’t handed a cup for a drink. I grabbed one. She comes towards me, excuse me are you going to pay for that drink? I did. No sir you didn’t order one. Are you kidding me. This restaurant has awesome food. I ordered the poké bowl. The prices are decent for the amount of food and the quality of ingredients you get. The staff were friendly. I am not from here, but I would definitely come back again the next time I am in town.
