My first halal vietnamese restaurant and I’m in love with the food. I’d come any time from Germany to Rotterdam just to have a meal at this restaurant. Thank you so much for your kind service and halal option!!! The prices are also very humble. The Phở was my absolute favorite. 10/10 for this restaurant.

Definitely NOT HALAL, dear brothers and sisters. We had a bowl of noodles with meatballs, and the waitress did not warn us at all about the meatball made from pork. Only after we returned the bowl to be reheated, the other waitress did kindly let us know that the meatball is made from pork. All of this is while they blatantly put “halal” word on the menu.

Yummy food! The decoration of the dishes is really on point as well!
The first time when I ordered delivery from MeMe was really late at night (nearly closing time). There was a tiny issue prevented me from enjoying the food fully. I openly discussed with the owner/manager about the experience and I was blown away that they replied right away and provided a quick solution. Indeed very appreciated of their fast response and professionalism!
The second-time delivery was out of this world!! The owner/manager even delivered it herself because there was no driver at the time. I’m indeed super thankful!
The food is sooo delicious! I TRULY enjoy their salads. Such refreshing flavors and absolutely yummy!! Highly recommend their chicken & shrimp salad! I can feel the love for Vietnamese food crafted in each piece, which can even be seen from the nice decorations. I can see how they wrapped it so carefully that the food looks just like on the menu when it reaches me after such a long ride (the restaurant is in the South while I’m in the North of Rotterdam).
This is not my first time writing such a long review but I definitely think it’s worth it since I have had an amazing experience at Meme! Would absolutely recommend if anyone wants to try delicious Vietnamese food with very good customer service.

Very cool and cosy place in Rotterdam. The food is delicious, and it’s great that everything is halal (except the “meat balls”, but you can replace the meatballs in the pho with more of the other meat). The staff is very friendly. I would recommend!

Delicious Halal Vietnamese restaurant, serving fresh, authentic streetfood, like Pho noodle soup, Banh Mi bread, rice sheet spring rolls. Good variety of dishes. The broth of the Pho noodle soup has rich flavour and portions are generous. The chicken pancake was exciting; never tasted before. Wanted to try their home made Banh Bao, but unfortunately out of stock.

I went to check out Mémé this afternoon and had the pho and spring rolls. The food was great, the broth was rich and the ingredients tasted fresh. The people were also super friendly, which is a major plus for me. However I was served by a waitress who was clearly ill. She was very sweet and helpful, but coughing a lot which could be heard throughout the restaurant. This did not make me feel comfortable, as it made me scared to get sick right before the Christmas holidays. Based on the food I’d want to give them a 5-star rating, but running the risk of getting infected by a member of the staff sadly affected my experience.

I went here with my boyfriend last week, I ordered a bún bò huế and he had phở. Because I never had a good bún bò in the Netherlands ever, I kept my expectations extra low and oh my god boy was I wrong.
Not only it was authentic, it could actually exceed the average bún bò in Viet Nam. So anyone who wants to try authentic Viet soup besides phở, I recommend this. I gotta say though, compared to phở this soup tastes more complex (MY opinion) so it’s definitely not catered to everyone. It’s more like if you get it you get it. If you decided to try it anyway, please keep this in mind because this is my favourite soup 🙂

*update: I have been to the actual restaurant now and indeed did not disappoint! The Pho is great (had the spicy one) and well filled with meat and noodles. Drinks also luckily not overly sweet.
Some very tasty Vietnamese food. Had it delivered, but the quality did not diminish at all. Also friendly delivery, well before the estimated time even. Especially the soup was very flavourful. Recommended!
