Steaks, seafood, wood-fired pizzas & wine in a warm, intimate dining room with a patio.

$80 literally thrown in the garbage. 2 pizzas 1 side, 2 drinks. Wish I could get a refund. Completely disappointed, I took 2 bites and that all I could. Rubbery dough, not very flavorful. Compared to other pictures of pizzas there was barely any cheese on mine. My wife ordered the BBQ chicken and it looked like a puke covered pizza. They have way too tables in such a small place so you’re right on top of each other. They had live background music which made it hard to have a conversation. Server was good that was the only positive. Kitchen was pretty slow for wood fire pizzas. They take a minute to cook, finally got ours 20 minutes later. Not sure what has changed but if you sort the reviews by “NEWEST” there definitely seems to be a trend of unsatisfied customers stating food is way overpriced for the level of quality. Looks like I’ll be driving in to Corpus next time. Prefer to support our local businesses but not if they don’t deserve it.

So the food is good, however our food came out at different times. We are a family of 4 and my wife’s came out first, she finished it, and then my daughter’s food came out and then my son’s and my food came out. Extremely loud in a small space. The dinner was one hour and forty five minutes. They ran out of food and closed the dinner around 7ish. This place really sucked tonight.

we had an amazing experience here. the pesto pasta , Alfredo pasta, and bbq chicken pizza were all delicious and clearly made with care. the crème brûlée for dessert was the perfect ending and absolutely incredible.
the service truly stood out. our server ( Lou the third i think ) was also a juggling multiple roles which made the experience even more special. he was so personable, attentive, and made us feel genuinely taken care of despite juggling multiple responsibilities . hearing about his baby on the way made the experience feel even more personal and memorable. we will definitely be back. great food, amazing service, and a really welcoming atmosphere.

Wow! Definitely coming back! Seth was our server, this was our first time and we had an AWESOME experience! He explained everything & took his time, didn’t rush us greeted us so kindly and the food was delicious. I had the chicken Alfredo w/ a Greek salad and my husband had the grilled shrimp w/mash potatoes and Brussel sprouts. No complaints….then they had live music the man set the Atmosphere perfectly! ( This musician Except tips, so worth it!) It’s perfect to go on a date or with friends.
Thank you all ! Kudos to the Chiefs!!!!

The Groove isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, the live music set the perfect vibe, and the food? Absolutely outstanding. But what truly made the night special was Lou—his hospitality and top-notch service made us feel like VIPs. This place has officially earned a spot in our regular rotation. Can’t wait to come back for more!

Great food! Great atmosphere! Had a cheese pizza as an appetizer. And for entrees the steak & lobster and salmon. All the food was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Serve was attentive and friendly. 10/10 would recommend. Great option instead of going to another restaurant chain.

We waited 1.5 hours for our food, and it was very mediocre on a Sunday evening. The snapper was tough, the sauce good, but the asparagus was burnt and squash was nasty. It was the special but was not special especially for $48. Had shrimp Alfredo with 4 grilled shrimp on it and there was hardly any sauce, very dry. Service was not great, friendly staff but not attentive and because we were a party of 8 with 3 separate tickets they added the gratuity of 22% which was a total ripoff. Would not recommend and will not go back. Very disappointed!

We’ve been before and had the wood fired pizza, which is excellent! Today, we had the baked Brie for an appetizer, and we tried the special wood fired fish. My husband had the triple tail with a Meyer lemon sauce, risotto and squash, I had the red snapper with a delicate dill beurre blanc, Brussels sprouts and roasted red potatoes. All were absolutely amazing!!! To top off the evening, service was outstanding. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Told to come here by our hotel with high recommendation, 75+ min wait for garlic bites, 2 pizzas & a wedge salad.
After we arrived at 6pm Sunday night, we were told seat ourselves & 3 other tables came in after us.
It took 10 minutes to be given menus and get a soda & 2 waters. After 20 mins our order was taken, the other tables that came in after us were waited on, and served their meals and left before we even got the wedge salad. Garlic bites turned up at 7pm with the salad. After 720pm ( nearly 1.5hrs after turning up) we still didn’t have our pizzas. Told them to put them in to go boxes. The food we did get was good. Our waitress was sweet, but seemed to be railroaded by the older male waiter who was very indignant towards her & her tables.

If you love live music, delicious pizza, pasta, seafood, and steak then this is the place to be.
The whole atmosphere here is electric and my gosh the food is to die for. The flavors are on point. Everything is hot, fresh and made in house in a beautiful rustic kitchen. The decor in the restaurant is such a vibe. Friendly waiters and cooks.
The singer chose songs that were a classic and everyone knew and was singing along.
Our group had a wonderful dinner here. Pricing is very fair for the top notch flavor and quality of the menu. I would come back here every time I’m in Rockport.
I highly recommend The Groove to all locals and visitors!
