This was our first time visiting and we were not disappointed. My husband brought me for my birthday and it was very romantic and the food was spectacular. My filet mignon was the best I have ever had ( and I have eaten many) the crust was perfect and it melted in my mouth. We will most definitely return and would highly recommend

Great Italian restaurant that is locally owned. Fantastic pasta dishes and one of the best filets in the city! Had the special tonight which was the filet with scallops and French cut green beans. Delicious! Always get great service and management always checks on tables which I appreciate as a customer. Deserts are also a must while dining.

Absolutely stunning! Me and my girlfriend went for a romantic date night and we both couldn’t have been more impressed! From the sexy atmosphere to the delectable food. Dustin, our server, was sensational, and the hostess and rest of staff were so helpful and so sweet! Really made the experience go the extra mile! We will definitely be back for more date nights!!!

Porcini is hands down one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in years. From the moment you walk in, it feels like a place coasting on its name rather than delivering anything resembling quality.
The food is aggressively mediocre at best and outright bad at worst. Pasta arrived lukewarm, overcooked, and drowning in sauce that tasted like it came straight out of a jar. Any claim to “authentic Italian” is laughable. The flavors were flat, uninspired, and clearly rushed — the kind of meal you regret halfway through but finish only because of how much you paid for it.
Service was painfully slow and disorganized. We waited far too long just to be acknowledged, longer still for drinks, and even longer for food that absolutely wasn’t worth the wait. Staff seemed confused, overwhelmed, and completely disconnected from the dining room, which made the entire experience uncomfortable and frustrating.
The atmosphere tries hard to be upscale but ends up feeling tired and neglected. Sticky tables, cramped seating, and a general lack of attention to detail made it clear that guest experience is not a priority here.
For the prices Porcini charges, you would expect care, consistency, and at least a basic level of competence. Instead, you get inflated costs, subpar food, and a night you wish you could get back. There are far better Italian restaurants that actually respect their customers’ time and money.
Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere—anywhere—else.

While visiting Louisville my daughter picked Porcini’s for her birthday dinner. The server we had was amazing. She was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was great and you could tell it was very fresh. I would say that they atmosphere is more upscale but we did not feel out of place. Serving Sizes were very nice..you will have left overs. The surrounding area was very nice as well and we felt very at home. The Penne Carbonara was out of this world!

Dimmed lighting to offer a romantic setting amid the elegances of the interior. The food was solid; particularly the Scallops and the pork chop dish. I felt the veal could have been improved, it looked a little bland. Overall a pleasant meal with a good ambiance.

We have loved Porcini for years, but their new Wine & Dine carry out service has made us love them even more. This week we got the dinner for 4 (with wine) and served our guests at home delicious chicken Marsala with mashed potatoes, beautiful roasted veg, there was a great salad, and eggnog cheesecake. All delicious and easy to heat (perfect instructions). All I had to do was pick it up Saturday afternoon. YUM!
