Pretty much everything about this place is spot on. Been here twice on weekday evenings and both times were great with different staff each time.
First night, i tried one of the stir frys, with chicken and level 3 spice. Lot of good flavor, but for me not terribly spicy. Second night, the Panang Curry. It was exceptional! Great service both nights and the ambiance is nice, possibly even romantic.

Packing For Adventure
I would like to give a better rating, but I just can’t justify it.
It is Valentines Day, so I get that it was super busy. But management needs to make some serious changes to how they operate.
I have eaten here before once several years ago, and I’ve had take out from here recently as well and was super impressed with the food on those visits, but today I didn’t even get any food.
Me and my husband and my two kids ordered steamed dumplings as a starter, my husband ordered Pad See Ew, I ordered yellow curry, and we got rice and noodles for the kids.
My husband got his Pad See Ew maybe 45 minutes into our visit, and my kids got their rice and noodles maybe 15 minutes after that. After waiting an hour and 15 minutes I finally asked them to just give us a check and to forget about the yellow curry and the steamed dumplings we never got. I asked for a discount for the poor experience and they gave me a whopping $1.25 off.
I just feel like they handled this super poorly. I’m irritated and hungry, since I never got any food.
My husband said his Pad See Ew was definitely not made with love and the chicken was dry.

Everything we ate was delicious! The sauce to the spring-roll was special and very good, the pad Thai was great and the curry was unbelievably tasty! The dishes arrived quickly and were very big and our waitress was extra nice!

Thai food is one of my favorites and this place is just incredible! The chicken Laab will blow your mind, and I’ve never seen it on another menu. We also had the Pad-Ka-Prow and it was also excellent! This is definitely the best Thai food in Ogden and the surrounding area.

I don’t often write reviews, but Laan Thai was so amazing that I feel I need to give them a glowing review. First of all, the menu is extensive and has pictures of each item. So if you are not familiar with Thai food, the pictures on the menu will help you a lot.
Three of us dined here and everything we ordered was so delicious. We should have taken photos because the presentation was so beautiful; complete with orchid flowers. All three of us could not believe how tasty the dishes were. Vegetables were fresh and cooked to perfection. The meals were not soaked in greasy oils like you sometimes encounter with Asian restaurants. Portions were generous and all three of us took some home.
Our server was very attentive and really strove to give great service. Water glasses were refilled promptly. The food was served quickly after ordering. The restaurant appears to be newly renovated/decorated. The ambiance was brightly lit and there was no loud music or blaring television.
I’ve been to Thailand three times and Laan Thai has better food than most of what I ate in Thailand. Highly recommended; I will be back!

Amazing Tai food and a wide variety to choose from! I have been coming here for years and the service is fast and the food is amazing! The Pho is to die for and the curry too, and if you haven’t tried it yet the Laab is out of this world! 10/10 every time
