We arrived a little earlier than when they opened but was happy to be invited inside to sit at a table vs our car. Afshin was an incredible server, very knowledgeable and entertaining! We had the eggplant parmigiana, lasagna, Tuscan platter, bruschetta, and Italian cream cake. Everything arrived quicker than expected, but was all fresh, cold where needed and hot where needed. We were treated like family from the moment we walked in til the moment we left. It absolutely made our whole night! This was my first visit, but definitely not my last. If every restaurant was like this with the customer service, food quality and quantity, there would never be any of them struggling!

Mario’s Italian is a true treasure! Every dish was bursting with flavor!
Spaghetti with Meat Sauce had perfectly cooked pasta with a rich, hearty meat sauce.
Chicken Milanese was crispy, tender, and beautifully seasoned, topped with a delectable lemon-caper sauce.
Fettuccine Alfredo was incredibly rich and silky, one of the best Alfredo sauces I’ve ever had.
Parmesan Stuffed Tomato, an amazing standout! Perfectly roasted with a savory Parmesan topping that melted beautifully and added the perfect burst of flavor.
The service was pleasant and attentive, the prices were excellent for the quality and portion sizes, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting with live entertainment singing timeless classics that created the perfect dining ambiance.
To make it even more special, Owner Moe personally makes his way to each table, greeting guests and making everyone feel like family. His hospitality is unmatched and adds a personal touch you won’t find anywhere else.
Mario’s is an absolute Tyler gem with its authentic Italian cuisine, welcoming atmosphere, and heartfelt service. Highly recommend!

Wow, just wow, I dont know how else to describe it. Better than any Italian restaurant I have been to in Tyler, Lindale, Hawkins, Longview or any around the area. EVERYTHING was AMAZING! Food, service, atmosphere and the singer was perfect.

So I will start with positives, the gentleman who singing did a good job, and the bread was fresh and warm. Now for the negative, when we first got there no one was at the host desk. Waited for 5 min, not bad and we got seated right away. However we didn’t know who are waitress was for 10 minutes. The food was probably the worst I have ever eaten,I have been to Italy and had amazing food, so I was hoping it would be good. I ordered the shrimp scampi, the shrimp was cooked perfectly, but I’m not sure how they did it but the spaghetti in the middle had no sauce on it, and the sauce that was on the plate was around the spaghetti like a moat, and the sauce was really salty and think. I am sorry but this was not a good place.

The bread is awesome. All the other food tasted like it was thrown together. Italian food always has depth of flavor. The garlic was right out of the jar, not even warmed. The tomato sauce was bitter. Like I said… Go for the Bread!

A classic Italian restaurant! Loved the atmosphere and the service was excellent. The bread and olive oil was just perfect along with some garlic bread with cheese and Marinara, man it was so good! I just about got full with the appetizers. I ordered the Venetian Chicken and it did not disappoint, great flavor and the chicken and mushrooms was spot on along with the sautéed vegetables it came with. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I loved dinner tonight. I had the classic lasagna, salad and bread. The food was great! I dinned alone but I had the company of the owner and other lone dinners at the bar. It was a pleasant experience eating in the company of new friends and hearing stories of the restaurant’s history. Thank you again!

Food was great. Service was AMAZING. (Justin is the best) But the singer walked by my table once to touch my date’s shoulder, and the second time he came by said to her, verbatim, “I’d give you my American Express anytime.” When I politely expressed my displeasure with this he scoffed and was condescending to me. Ty is restaurant has been great for years, but it might be time to consider different entertainment.

Heard great things about the place from my mom and friends. I’d never been. Called ahead and made reservations for my mom’s birthday, and they called me back the day of to confirm the reservation, which was helpful to me because the number of people that were coming had changed.

It was wonderful. Atmosphere was great, not too bright not too dim, not exceptionally loud, great nostalgic music. The live singer was a delight. If you enjoy big band music, you should come here. Our waitress was sweet, personable and attentive. Food was delicious, and they have a large menu to choose from. Portions were good, and the prices weren’t too high. My plate pictured down below was about $19 and I still had leftovers.

Definitely going back again! My mom was so happy, she wants to come back for every one of her future birthdays.

The restaurant was clean and the wait staff was very polite! Food was so so, my team ordered mixed platter and sautéed mushrooms. Mixed platter came with fried zucchini, fried calamari, fried jalapeño poppers, and mozzarella sticks with 2 sauces – the jalapeño poppers were the best rest was ok. The sautéed mushrooms was recommended by the waiter and it tasted like really salty hot and sour soup.
I had shrimp linguine as my main dish – it was ok, shrimps were cooked to perfection but they were enough for the portion, the sauce tasted very bland but creamy so was not the best I have had. Portion sizes overall was big!
We were asked to try the creamy Italian cake, which was hot and had some cream poured over it! The cake was ok but the cream seemed like the one you get from the cinnamon roll poured over hot cake! We barely ate and left most of it!
Overall ok experience for the price!
