Jony’s can be confusing to find because it’s in the same building as the South Village Grille, but this is definitely a plus. Not only was the sushi amazing, but I was able to get the giant meatball as an appetizer and it was sp good. The atmosphere is cozy and the drink selection is good. If you have a friend who isn’t a fan of sushi, bring them here and they can order from the South Village Grille menu. It’s a win-win.

Excellent sushi! Love the heat and the house pickled ginger. Very fresh fish, excellent selection, ready when promised, hot for pickup! Can’t wait to try them when their dining room is open!

I got Mother of dragon roll and poke bowl. The bowl was sooo good! The tuna is super fresh! This poke bowl is different than any other places that I have been, no spicy mayo or creamy sauce! I don’t know what it is probably some sesame oil mixed with something but it was soooo good! Different but best!
Mother of dragon roll was good too (sorry for too many good things!) first bite was okay until the spicy taste came and it turned good-best!
Best place! Recommend!
But for now only take out, you cannot eat their, just yet. Must try! (The mother of dragon roll, i forgot to take a picture, too good to stop )

Being Vegan on the far east side of Columbus can be challenging when wanting to take out. My girlfriend was craving sushi and found Jonys on Grub Hub so she decided to order. Being un sure how big there rolls where we decided to order 4 x veggie rolls, Pot stickers a order of spring rolls and some Edamame. This turned out to be quite a bit for two people. All was good quality the spring rolls and pot stickers could have been hotter, but thats not there fault we did order it on grub hub. All this came in to around 40 dollars with tip and charge from grub hub, so the price was good to. Jonys will now be a go to for us when we want take out. Hopefully next time we decide to eat in. I would definitely recommend Jonys to Vegans and non vegans alike of looking to curb there craving for sushi.

Got the poke bowl. The sauce they put on the tuna is very sweet, like a sweet chili sauce but without the spice, very sugary, not for me. Veggie sushi was good and not insanely expensive but everything else is, like 20 dollars a roll. Staff was very friendly and nice. Nice to have sushi on this side of town just way too expensive for what it is.. also, they don’t currently accept cash and the charge on my card was for South village grille which freaked me out at first until I looked up that they have the same owner.

My wife and I usually try to go to different restaurants to try food. However there are a few that we go to as our staples. Jonys has become one of those places. First time we had Jonys, we were a little skeptical of take out sushi, but in the time of COVID they more than satisfied our sushi cravings. In fact, I would rank them pretty high not just in overall quality, but their customer service is also amazing. We ordered sushi from them well over ten times now and while it has been a pretty consistent, the few times there were minor issues, they were really proactive at correcting things and going above and beyond.
