I drive down to Vero Beach From Melbourne Beach once a month for my bagel fix.
I pre ordered and.got there ten minutes early, I know it’s Sunday and it’s a busy day but I my order was twenty five minutes late even though I pre ordered, the other thing that caused the star reduction was I ordered two lox spreads and when I got home I couldn’t believe how small they were!
And third this is a second time I asked for my egg sandwich which was a “reward” and still no sandwich.
The person who helped me had an issue with the app,
I’m disappointed! I also tried to get the 5.00 reward and I have no idea where it was sent.
Change my mind for me about coming back to the store

Brooklyn Water Bagel in Vero is a great spot! The bagels were fresh and delicious, and the coffee was spot on. What really stood out was the service — they were super helpful, patient, and genuinely kind, which made the whole experience even better.

We go to Brooklyn Water Bagels about about twice a month, always around noon .We enjoy the bagel itself but are consistently disappointed in the customer service ( order takers) and the way the bagel is “buttered”. Yes, I wrote buttered.
Apparently the entire staff, which appears to change every time we are there. puts as little butter on the bagel as possible. We typically return the bagel to the counter and ask for more butter.
Today I decided to ask for more butter when I ordered the bagel. I expected to pay an additional amount.
To my amazement, I was charged..are you ready..$2.40 cents for additional butter. The bagel itself cost $1.99 (Everything)
How can it be that you pay more for the butter than the bagel?

OMG!! First, The store was super clean, second, the best bagels ever! There is a actually Real Avocado on the avocado salmon sandwich, not a spread. The iced cubano coffee has coffee ice cubes, and the NEW* Manager, Autumn, she checked on every customer after they received their meal to make sure everything was to their liking. I will come here on a weekly basis and give BB my business!

Just left from here. Our bagel sandwiches were sub par at best. I got a bacon egg and cheese bagel and my husband got a chicken egg and cheese and they were both tasteless. his chicken looked like what you’d get from an elementary school cafeteria. Tasted like nothing. Mine was just full of salt, mainly from the bacon. Unmelted, cold slices of cheese in both. Didnt even bother eating our 2nd half. We definitely will not be back to eat here again. lol

Would not recommend based on poor service alone. They’re listed on multiple apps for order and pick up service. I ordered via an app and was given a pick up time of 2-3pm. I live 13 miles away and drove to pick up my order which was approximately 30 minute drive.
I arrive and there is a sign on the door that says “closed for maintenance”. I knock on the window and the younger girl waves they’re closed. I knocked again to get her attention and have her come to the door. She comes over and says we’re closed. I explain I ordered and it’s given me a time and that I’d I won’t be getting my food I’d like a refund. She says call the app it’s not her problem they’ve been closed all day. She also stated they’ve been getting orders all day and haven’t done any.
I express that it’s poor customer service to not update any of the apps and allow for ordering to still occur. It’s a real inconvenience when I’ve driven this far and wasted my time. Was told again she has nothing to do with it and they’re closed. She said they’ve gone through 15 managers and she has nothing to do with it but she’s the shift manager. Another girl comes over blonde hair and says shes on the phone with the owner and they cancelled all online ordering platforms. I picked up my phone and went on the app and showed them it’s still active and accepting orders.
If the company isn’t accepting ordering online or via apps that is their job to deactivate any and all of the services. What’s really a shame is not one of them even say “I’m sorry for the inconvenience”.
At this point this is just incompetence all around.
I do not recommend this business. Hopefully they can get a 16th manager who can get them situated as they should completely reevaluate their customer service. If they can’t they should sell it or close their doors for good.

It has nice outdoor seating in the shade but lately my food has not been prepared as it used to. I get a jersey boy and the bagel isn’t even toasted, cheese isn’t melted and overall, it’s not the quality it once was. I am disappointed that this location is going downhill.

I took a star off the review for two reasons. The first is that when ordering another team member started running a wet dry shop next to the cash register and it very difficult to place the order and confirm it was correct. The second reason for the lack of a star was the manager slid the bag containing my order across the counter at me and walked away. It’s not that he was rude, it’s just that he wasn’t friendly.
The bagels were good. The amount of cream cheese was impressive and I’ll be sure to return. I would encourage everyone to get bagels here but I think the customer service skills could improve.

It’s been a year and I’ve returned to the area and returned to Brooklyn Water Bagel.
This time the staff were much more friendly and nice. The staff were friendly “enough” but it makes me wonder what the culture is like there that people ant be happy.
Anyway,This time I had a salt bagel and it was good. I wish it was super encrusted with salt. I’d pay more if it was. The bagel was good and chewy.
I was intrigued that they had egg creams. Disappointed that I had to make it myself but ok I’m game. The problem was that the spoon they give you is dramatically too short so your fingers are in the drink while stirring and that’s no fun. The drink was just mid but the next time I’ll make it better.

I LOVE a good bagel. It’s a comfort food for me. This place does not disappoint! Authentic NY style bagels, served exactly how I love them. The COFFEE is also exceptionally good. I would not say that Brooklyn Water Bagel has kept pace with the creativity of the better mom and pop bagel shops of the city, however. Bagel and smear flavors were a bit pedestrian, but very well executed. They do it right! Pastrami and egg sandwich was great, as was my favorite everything bagel sandwich. Go. Well worth it. Don’t expect to try something new, but do expect it to be executed perfectly.
