I started with a Moscow Mule that was crisp, balanced, and refreshing—clean ginger bite, not overly sweet. Perfect way to kick things off. I also ordered a sushi roll, and it was fresh, well-constructed, and flavorful, with rice-to-filling ratios done right (no sloppiness, no overload).
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, especially appreciated on a holiday when many places feel rushed or understaffed. Service was smooth and friendly, and everything came out promptly.
If you’re looking for solid Asian cuisine, good cocktails, and a dependable spot that even comes through on Christmas, Suwana is absolutely worth the stop. I’ll be back.
Me and my wife finally tried Suwana Asian Cuisine last weekend after hearing good things, and wow, we were not expecting it to be this solid.
We started with the crab rangoon because we’re basic like that, and they were legit some of the best I’ve had crispy outside, creamy inside, not too sweet or greasy. Then we got the fresh summer rolls (the veggie ones) and those were huge and super fresh tasting, perfect for balancing out the fried stuff.
For mains I got the Pad Thai with chicken and she got the Panang curry with tofu (they’re really good about making things vegetarian/vegan without attitude). The Pad Thai was spot-on—not too saucy, great balance of sweet/sour/salty, and the noodles had that perfect chew. Her curry was rich and creamy but not heavy, and the veggies were still crisp. Portions are generous too we both had leftovers for lunch the next day.
Service was quick and friendly without being over-the-top. The place has a nice cozy vibe, nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. Prices felt fair for the quality and amount of food we got (we walked out happy and not broke).
We’ll definitely be back probably trying the sushi next time because it looked really good going past other tables. If you’re in the mood for Thai or sushi and want something that actually tastes fresh and homemade, this place delivers. Highly recommend.
