I gave them a five star because I have not ordered off their menu. My husband and I made reservations for their Christmas extravaganza for us and my mother in law. Service was on point. The buffet they had set up was theworst food I have had in my 61 years and we paid $103.00 a plate. I don’t mind paying that for good food. We were all so disappointed. I won’t return for a buffet but I will give their menu a shot.

I recently went to Louie Olivers, had only been 1 other time during happy hour. Stopped in with family (yes no gambling this time) to grab some lunch. I ordered the steak sandwich which was delicious but the winner of the day was the Strawberry Moscow Mule. Never had one so I after I got the first 1 I ordered 2 more haha! Would recommend for good food.

Louie Oliver’s has become my new favorite spot. The food is amazing (best garlic fries ever!), the view is amazing, the music is amazing, and the service is amazing! Beverly is an angel/saint and she should be given $1 bazillion dollars because she deserves it!!! Can’t say more good things because it’s just amazing!

Spouse and I have eaten here a few times over the years, and I can honestly say we have never had a bad meal here. Menu is seasonal so there’s always a chance to try something different. Service is great as well, everyone is friendly and warm. If given the chance, dining on the patio around sunset is a great option, beautiful views of Amador County.

My wife and I had an amazing time at Harrah’s Northern California off Coal Mine Rd in Ione, CA. We enjoyed both Louie Oliver’s Restaurant & Bar and the After Dark nightlife! The live music and vibrant atmosphere made for an unforgettable evening. We especially loved the seasonal salads, the appetizer menu, and the After Dark menu’s chicken wings. The $5 drink specials were a great bonus too! It’s so nice to see live music in the area, and it was a great place to meet up with other locals and friends. The rock ‘n’ roll bands truly enhanced the experience, and we’re excited to hear more in the future. This spot has quickly become one of our favorite places to enjoy music, entertain friends and family, and unwind on the patio with drinks from the outdoor bar. Highly recommended!

Haven’t been here for over a year due to my last meal being horrible. Thought I’d give them another chance . The Staff-Server was excellent and friendly, definitely no complaints with them.
Had the Beef wellington for two and it wasn’t good. The pastry was not cooked through, they put a sauce on top that looked like grape jelly but I believe was balsamic based, had an odd flavor, it ruined the fillet.
The mash potatoes looked and tasted old. The green beans were a bit bitter from not being blanched or cooked. It was a disappointment once again.

Great, great, great! Food was fantastic and quickly served! Great seating outside and inside. (Did both on 2 different days) my servers and hostess we above and beyond friendly and professional. The salmon with the red pesto is great and do yourself a favor and try the strawberry short cake dessert, it was sooo good. The creme Brule was also delicious. Full bar and smallish menu but hard to find anything wrong with any of it! If I am ever in the area I will come back.
