The cook has moved from a guy selling Jamaican food to friend/family. The food is absolutely amazing and he has consistent good vibes. This is authentic Jamaican food. Don’t even waste your time trying somewhere else. This is hands down the best Jamaican food in Pittsburgh. Seasoning is always on point.

I think the last 3 times I’ve driven there, hungry and stoked for jerk chicken, they’re closed even though their hours says open. I can’t figure it out.
I love the oxtail, cabbage, friend plantains, and Jamaican patties, just wish I could actually get them.

I didn’t even make it out the bag before I ran to leave a review for the pepper steak. First of all, this is a small (easily 2-3 servings), so you’re getting all of your moneys worth and then some. It’s real tender and seasoned well, so the white rice is perfect with it. They’re also genuinely nice folks. ✨

Officially my favorite spot for jerk chicken in the Penn hills area, my food is always hot. I’ve been showing up here since the day he opened up and I have never been disappointed!! I definitely recommend trying one pot out.

As a Trini who has eaten curry my ENTIRE life, I’ve NEVER had or experienced curry goat like this. Why is it watery? Why does it taste and smell off? Why is there so much fat? I tried and I’m sorry; I can’t. Almost an hour for THIS and then items were missing. First and last for me.
