I recently visited on February 12, 2026 and tried something different. I ordered the Hot Braised Wing combo and was not disappointed! It came with 6 wings, pork fried rice (choice of rice), and two wontons (choice of appetizer) for just under $10. Since I called in my order, it was fresh and ready upon arrival. The wings were crisp and the sauce was good. The rice was also cooked just right I think I’ll try the Sweet and Sour wing combo next

This is some of the best rides that I have had in a long time. I tasted it to see if I needed to a red pepper and soy sauce and I wound up eating it without adding anything. The Egg roll was crispy with great flavor. The cabbage inside was cooked just right. I hate soggy cabbage. This might just make my favorites list if they stay consistent
I had a whole order of shrimp and ham fried rice with no vegetables and added an egg. And 1 Egg roll. Wish I had ordered more.

Hot spot serious traffic , one of estl’s go to. Eastside special is the go to and crab Rangoons , Saint Paul. Rice is fire. If you never had east side rice this might be the one to pull up too.

They have the world’s famous spicy crab ragoons. I literally have to get 2 orders at least twice a week. Very fast and professional. They have to be one of the few chinamen that take debit or credit card. Great service

Intentionally asking for fried hard no batter wings, only to receive them gummy and undone. I’m hoping to have my order remade since I really did crave this undeniably great restaurant today. Are you guys still the best on the ESide? I been gone for years and I need that!! ❣️

Never will they get my business again, first they gives me the wrong order so I had to drive all the way back and then the charge me more money, I’m like how. Food was cold, chicken so gross. I’m done with these rice houses in East St Louis and Cahokia, I’ll make my own,oh and the chicken fried rice only had like 3 pieces in it, I minus well gotten plain

The food looks and sounds DELICIOUS!! Are there any vegetarian options?? I can’t find a menu and I’m not sure if it would be worth the drive to look at the menu! Please have vegetarian option! I miss GOOD sweet and sour

I ordered a whole order of duck fried rice, chicken wings, crab rangoon and a chicken St. Paul. All excellent choices. Tab was $26, very reasonably priced in my opinion. Not a lot of parking. I read previous reviews saying that so I called my order in about 15 minutes before. Food was ready by time I got to the window and paid. Good food. No complaints.

I had some of the best chinese food in world being from Chicago… and Eastside ranks with the best of them. I ordered the large special egg foo young and the large special fried rice…
It was so good I didn’t even take a picture. Full of meat and gravy for the egg foo Yung was good too. You know every chinese place can’t make that gravy right! Eastside’s was bomb
I gotta let you know it’s in the hood, east st. Louis at its finest. Not many parking spots, you gotta park on the side street, the vestibule where you order is small too. But the whole experience is worth it to get some good chinese food, Trust me you won’t be disappointed
