That said, while the food was enjoyable, it didn’t quite stand out as the best Indian spot on the island. Service could also use a bit more attentiveness as our water wasn’t refilled often, and we weren’t checked on much after the food was served. It was also difficult to spot the entrance to the parking lot behind the building so I took a picture of it here.
Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re in the area and craving Indian food, and with a little more attention to service, it could be even better.
Despite my poor pronunciation of the dishes, the person I spoke to was able to understand what I ordered. Lol.
At first, I didn’t think it was enough food for 5 adults and 1 child. We got shrimp saag, matar paneer, butter chicken, a garlic cheese naan, roti, and two orders of vegetable samosas. It was more than sufficient. What made it even better was that they also gave me rice. All for under $85. Not bad at all.
Everything was mild, since three people in our party don’t like spicy food.
This isn’t the first time I’ve visited this place. All four times prior, my coworkers and I have brought food from here and had no bad things to say.
The service and atmosphere were great. Staff was friendly, helpful and patient. The restaurant has a very comfortable vibe, easy and relaxing to be in. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.
This place is truly a gem, and I can’t recommend it enough if you’re craving authentic Indian food.
The restaurant was quite busy around noon, and we waited about 10–15 minutes for a table, which felt reasonable. Service was decent, and although the restaurant is small, it was clean and comfortable. Overall, a good option if you’re looking for tasty Indian food in the area.
In summary we had a delicious meal here and the taste and quality of the food was a pleasant surprise. We will be coming back!
We waited over an hour for our food, while tables that arrived after us were served first. We clearly requested that at least one dish be prepared earlier for babies/toddlers, which was ignored. The staff insisted that all items are prepared and served together, showing no flexibility or consideration for families.
When we asked multiple times how long the wait would be, the only response was that the order was “in processing,” which provided no useful information and reflected very poor communication.
To make matters worse, parking is a problem. There is no adequate street parking available, which only adds to the frustration.
Between the long wait, poor service, lack of communication, and parking issues, this restaurant is not worth the trouble. I would not recommend it, especially for families with young children.
