We saw Lots Pasta on social media and a friend recommended it to us as well. The market is impressive but we were there for the sandwiches. I chose the Italian Sub and the a Cuban sandwich and my wife had the build your own pastrami on soft Italian bread . We also got somethings from the market for later. The Italian was excellent and the Cuban was executed perfectly to what a Cuban was supposed to be. My wife’s pastrami was tasty too. My only complaint is that the Cuban and pastrami sandwiches were light on meat, sspecially considering the price in my opinion. We also got some of the oatmeal chocolate chip cookies which was definitely a highlight of the visit!!! Overall we enjoyed our visit and if you’re in the area check it out!

I’m absolutely in love with this place. As an Italian from Chicago this place was a dream. Lasagna was insane, the fresh refrigerated pasta was great. Sauce tastes like Sunday gravy. They have giardinara peppers, fresh bread, cookies. I plan on being there every other week. You guys are the best hands down.

It’s been a while since my visit but we went in around October to get some cheese and butter for a charcuterie board at home. Got the MOST delicious Delice de Bourgogne there, very ripe, as well as some other delicious types and very good imported French butter. I’ve been struggling quite a bit to find Delice de Bourgogne with the same ripeness and I’m literally in the part of Europe where that should be easy right now so kudos to them. Everything was very fairly price, we got loads of cheese and butter for under 30 bucks (what you saw is like, a fourth of the total amount of cheese and butter). Supremely nice staff who came up to ask us what we were looking for and tried their best to find what we liked, portioned it right, didn’t try to oversell, and gave us tons of suggestions. Definitely highly recommend!
Ps: The meat here is not from them by the way.

Best pasta in town. I got the jumbo meat ravioli and the goat cheese herb ones. They are so fresh, the flavors are perfect and taste better than any restaurant with some Rao’s marinara on them. I wish they were closer to me so I could go there more often. The parking sucks, you have to back up on a busy street.

My husband and I went here for Sunday lunch, the ordering process was very easy and quick. We ate in the coffee shop that’s connected and ate our hot sandwiches fresh. Highly recommend the Turkey, goat cheese, and tomato panini, the Great Lakes Parmesan ranch kettle chips, and the Greek pasta salad. We will definitely be back!

The day before Thanksgiving, Erica and her team pulled a beautiful gift basket together for me even though it was one of the busiest days of the year for them. Amazing store with a wide range of diverse products, prepared foods, and frozen staples. Highly recommend stopping in!

Love this place for its distinct and intentional efforts to offer a more vast array of authentic Italian quinine. From imported cheeses and meats, homemade pre-frozen meals, pizza dough, etc. Lotsa Pasta is the gateway to Italy. Offering the best selection of incredible foods and ingredients you think of when imagining an Italian market place. Options include pasta, sauces, breads, oils, olives, etc. Truly one the best local Italian markets to visit in Louisville.

It’s insane to me that one of the owners after a customer brings up about a lunatic screaming threats and obscenities right out side the store out right refuses to call the police to ensure his customers safety. What’s even more insane is he also lets these lunatics use the bathroom ruin it then expects his poor employees to clean up their mess. Not sure his motives behind putting a raving lunatic in priority over his customer and workers safety but sadly it’s last time I’ll be giving them anymore business. “For context I was one of multiple customers asking about it”

Lotsa Pasta has zero shame, and you’ll see below they will try to argue and discredit what I’m saying. Since the store wants to argue, I’ll repost and let them type out their lies again. Stop lying to your customers.
DO NOT go to this store for alfredo sauce- they have changed their recipe and even if the sauce separates during cooking, they will still refrigerate it and sell it, passing the burden on to their customers. They then admit to your face it doesn’t look right and ARGUE IN GOOGLE REVIEWS saying they reheated the product I returned (hello health department??) and that it was totally fine. Mind you this is after admitting to my face that it didn’t look right. IT WAS GROSS.
In order to process a refund, the staff insisted on writing my full card number down for someone else to process the refund. THIS IS NOT PCI COMPLIANT (no matter how much you try to argue) AND IS A MAJOR VIOLATION! You absolutely cannot write customers’ credit card numbers down. Read that again, LP. YOU CAN’T DO THIS. Welcome to 2025, let’s step out of 1990 together. You could’ve processed the refund as I read my credit card numbers but refused to do it this way. This is highly concerning. Lotsa Pasta needs to brush up on sauces and PCI rules, and customer service ASAP. Honestly if this still isn’t landing with you guys, it will just have to be attributed to your aging owners, who are just purely out of touch with reality in today’s age.
