I went to Sushi Fire with my friend because we both love sushi! We were really excited to try it. I got the Sugar Daddy Roll and it was super delicious, full of flavor. The staff was really nice and attentive, always checking if we needed anything. The prices were good, and the place had a really nice, relaxed vibe. I’d definitely come back!

This place was great. I took my husband here for a low key birthday dinner on Monday and had a great experience overall.
Ambience:
The place is so cute, has great ambience and gentle music. The courtyard is nice too. Our server was so friendly and respectful, and even brought out a little birthday surprise.
Food:
Crispy garlic tuna is a must try, so delicious. Yellowtail carpaccio is excellent quality. For the special rolls we got the Crispy rice tuna, Mango crunch, and Scorpion, which were all so great but the Crispy rice tuna was definitely the most flavorful.
We got a little confused with where the entrance was, you have to go through the arch from the parking lot, don’t go out to the street and around because there is no entrance there.
We will definitely be coming back!

First time here and will not be the last, now i been reading some good and bad reviews and needless to say the sashimi was delicious and the wife order some sushi rolls and we had a pitcher of Sapporo and even the hostess was very nice. Idk what people are talking about when it comes to eating here.
I’m in no place to judge a restaurant by looks or negative comments, i do know that at times people are unhappy and they vent the frustrations to others.

The restaurant itself is very cute and has a really nice outdoor area to eat. As a So Cal foodie this would be my preferred noshing location, but it was raining the day of my visit. I was still happy as the inside was cozy and well lit with the window looking out to the patio area.
The food was very tasty and nicely presented. The broth they use for their soup is simmered for hours and you could tell it was made from scratch! The sashimi/sushi was clearly fresh and tasted wonderful. Their tea choices are varied and fun to choose from! They also have weekday lunch specials to check out.
The service was super friendly! I’d definitely recommend!

Volcano Sashimi – beautifully presented and fresh
Tuna Tartare – I loved the slightly spicy flavor!
Tataki roll – fun to eat with different textures
Lion King roll – beautifully presented and delicious

My friend was in the mood for sushi so we decided to try this place next to our favorite tea spot in DTF. To start, this place looks like it needs to be updated, the menu is a bit confusing- they could have the sushi and sashimi in the front and any extra stuff like ramen in the back. Not many staff, so you have to wait some time to get some service. The whole place looks like it caters to women because me and my friend were the only men there. It could be a cool sushi bar, but that’s my personal opinion. Restrooms are decently clean. Not a bad place but it left me underwhelmed.

Such a hidden gem sushi restaurant! They have premium sashimi and great Japanese dishes. Many parts are from Japan like the uni. It’s very fresh and doesn’t smell at all. The salmon is from the ocean, not farmed salmon. Toro parts are very nice and delicious. Sushi menu was really worth trying. The servers are especially friendly. I really enjoyed the vibe as well. They play relaxing music. It gives a relaxing feeling like slow-life countryside in Japan. Totally recommend!

Came to this place while friends and I were biking in Fullerton to our surprise. Sushi is some of the best around but the service is hands-down. The best I ever experienced at a sushi restaurant.. highly recommend sushi fire if you’re in the area and want extremely delicious sushi with a side of amazing service.
