We had tried all of the other Mexican restaurants in the area and finally decided to give this place a try. The staff was so friendly, and the place is really cute. It’s just the food that fell apart. Really unimpressive.
It’s located in Newport on the coast, but they use fake crab and don’t mention that it’s fake in the menu. The beef was really overcooked. The food was that of a very basic, run-of-the-mill Mexican place, but it was extremely expensive. Everything seemed pre-cooked and just warmed up and thrown together. There are other great Mexican restaurants in the area. It’s really too bad.

I really enjoyed my dish, the shrimp was delicious! There were 5 big shrimp perfectly cooked with a little spicy flavor, the onion tasted good and also the mushrooms in it. I also liked the chips which were warm when they served it. Friendly nice service, colorful decorations. Food portion big, had to take a big box home.

I came in looking for a burrito, and found they had a Chile Colorado burrito. I’ve been looking for the past few years for a good Chile Colorado spot and THIS IS the best Chile Colorado I’ve had since I’ve been looking. I got the Chile Colorado with rice and beans and I’d highly recommend it to any other Chile Colorado fans. The salsa is also delicious.

Super delicious! The Lady at the Depoe Bay location, said that the Lincoln City location has non store bought handmade tortillas! So the next time I’m in Lincoln City, that’s where I am eating! Anyhow, I went to the location in Newport, because that’s where my Hotel was. I ordered the small combo, which consisted of one Tamale, Rice & Beans. The meal came with Chips & Salsa. I could only eat half, because it was huge! Very, very good however. I can’t wait to try other items on their menu! Very nice folks & their Refried Beans are the best I’ve had in years. My Tamale had Chicken in it & wasn’t the least bit spicy, which is exactly how I like it, not spicy!

We got in at 830p on a Friday. They close at 930p but we’re super friendly and sat us right away. Staff was great, service was super fast and food was great!!!! I order the #18 super burrito and chili relleno. Added a margarita on the rocks and I was a happy fella. Definitely recommend.

This place has some solid authenticity and they’re an affable bunch as service goes (yes, service was great). They turned out the best virgin daiquiri for my daughter, who was thoroughly surprised when they brought it out, and even more impressed with the drink when I told her this is how parents get drunk.
I nigh have made a prophetic mistake in telling her that, but it was worth the laugh.
