Not your typical Mexican restaurant. Larger selections, house specialties such as the Anaconda, and a better lunch menu than what you would expect. $7.50 all you eat ? 3 selections for starting out. I reordered the Chili Rellano and I was very full. My partner was so happy with her Chicken Chimichanga I didn’t get a taste.
I will come back just to get the Anaconda as n the future. Great service by Victor at lunch today.

We have been loyal customers for 11 years, usually once a week. We have our favorite waitress and when she’s not there, we have a favorite waiter. She has been on a leave of absence and he wasn’t there tonight. They know us, they know what we drink and eat. They are the reason we continue to go to that location. Tonight we had another waiter, who was very nice. There was a small problem with our order and he got the manager on duty to come over to help us. The manager on duty was rude and uncaring, He recognized us as being very regular customers but was not accommodating at all. He did not even try to satisfy our concern. My husband was so surprised by this, he told him that we wouldn’t be back. The MOD said “ok” and just stood there staring at us. My husband finally asked him to go away. The last 2 or 3 visits we have noticed a huge decline in business. I hope the owner recognizes this lack of professional management and the loss of their best waitress has really has taken a toll on their business.

I’ve been several times. Meat is seasoned while cooked, dont find that at alot of Mexican restaurants, So that’s a plus! Service is great, friendly servers. FOOD IS ALWAYS GOOD. Only reason I took off a star is because once, the queso tasted like it had been combined ed with store bought queso? DON’T MESS WITH MY QUESO!

Wowza! I ordered Parillada for 2. It should have been for 5 or 6! Wow again! That food was most expensive on the menu, but I took it home and had 6 meals off of it. I removed the shrimp..all of the food was excellent, their were carrots mushrooms besides the green onions nopales..omg! That food was so good. All of the meat was tender..the carnitas..omg…flavor like none other. Not too salty…pure flavor! Service was excellent and constant! The horchata delicious! I want to go back on Tuesdays there is a taco day. Everyone needs the great.experience of this place at least once. Located in front of Krogers in Oakland! Excellente!
