Thought this was gonna be a hit. But NOPE! I guess the locals that rave about it never had some really good Hot dog stand food. Because this ain’t it! We ordered the Philly steak which people brag about, and barely had any flavor. The gyro burger that seen many good reviews about it, barely taste like anything. Kids grilled cheese was super dry and almost burnt. Fries and onion rings were overcooked. At least I can say we tried. Definitely won’t be going back. Minooka can keep this place! Disappointed.

Last time, they saved my soul with a baptism. This time, they sent me to the bottom of the North Atlantic. I asked for a ‘Titanic-level hull breach’ and by God, they delivered a wreckage. The bread suffered a total structural collapse under the sheer pressure of the au jus. I found a piece of giardiniera floating on a scrap of crust like Rose on the door—there was absolutely no room for the beef.
The bag arrived leaking like a compromised bulkhead. It wasn’t just ‘wet’; it was a catastrophic maritime event. 10/10, the Coast Guard is currently investigating my table.

Family owned restaurant. They support veterans and troops. Food is #1 in the area. Their gyro is a must try. I have tried almost everything from their menu selections over years and never been disappointed with the food I had. Employees are super friendly. Prices are fair. They keep the restaurant pretty clean. Highly recommend

Worst gyro I’ve ever had in my life. They literally just threw gyro meat on pita bread with onions and sauce, they didn’t close it and it wasn’t even hot. I’m astounded. I know this is a small town and maybe locals don’t know any better, but I genuinely believe a lot of these positive gyro reviews have to be fake.

Wonderful food! These workers work hard to get your food right and quick to you. Family atmosphere, very welcoming. There’s something here for everyone. I had the Philly and Jalapeno Poppers. Portions are huge! I will definitely be back the next time I’m in the area!
