My friends and I are in Memphis for a conference, and we decided to eat dinner at Sabor Caribe. We arrived a half an hour before they were due to close, and they assured us that they could still serve us. All three of us had arepas, which were delicious, and we also enjoyed our drinks. Many thanks to the staff for being so kind and gracious and for staying open to accommodate us!

Meat last complete flavor, its just like boiled meat with a lil bit of seasoning . Its sad that you call this Venezuelan food. You guys can do better. Not everyone can cook.

We had a MOST lovely evening here! Everyone was over and beyond polite but my goodness the FLAVOR OF THE FOOD! Fantastic! I can’t wait to go back with a good amount of time to enjoy. 5 Stars. Highly Recommend! (Sidenote: you may wait a few minutes at first, but then food all comes out quickly and together one order is in. Don’t fret. And you will not be disappointed!

Amazing food and great staff! This was my first experience with Venezuelan food and I wasn’t disappointed. A friend ordered a round of appetizers for the table and I got to try so many diverse flavors. The Sifrina was chocked full of chicken salad & avocado. I also enjoyed my strawberry margarita with Tajin on the rim. Lastly, I enjoyed the avocado & cheese tasty treat.

I tried to patronize this place but never got to order. I was greeted by one person and handed a menu but then they walked off to do something else. The other person that was left at the counter totally ignored me as she was playing on her phone. I tried asking a few questions since this was my 1st time there and she kept ignoring me. She acted annoyed that I was interrupting her so I just walked out. Not a great 1st impression but I won’t be back. If they don’t care about taking my money, then I don’t care to give it to them.

Shrimp arepa was amazing. Loved it with the cilantro sauce. Brunette arepa was ok. I thought it was too meaty. Seafood empanada had a strong fish flavor. Tequenos were good but tasted better with sauce. Unfortunately, they forgot our tres leches cake.

Savor Caribe is one of my favorite restaurants in Memphis. I love the arepas, plantains, beans, quesillo, and churros. This time, I ordered a drink which was fantastic.
