Rookh Italian Indian Restaurant: A Culinary Fusion of Flavors
Reviews
The service was, from the start, so welcoming and inviting. Our party was already waiting for us and as soon as we got there, one of the many servers were quick to come take our drink order. They checked on us frequently and when we asked for something they were quick to accommodate us. We had not been before and the recommendations of maybe the owner did not fall on deaf ears. We even asked to taste the sause of a dish that had been ordered and they promptly brought it, not their fault but it was far too spicy for our relative’s taste. I on the other hand was very excited to ask for some more with my order even though it did not come with.
Overall fantastic experience and may be one of my new staples when going to the benton/bryant area.
This is our second time eating here, so delicious. Ravi provided excellent service! Authentic food, flavorful and excellent food presentation. The ambiance in this restaurant allows you to really enjoy your food!
Definitely will go again and try different things or may just go for the Paneer tikka burger AGAIN!
Their menu has a huge variety for everyone
Absolutely worth it. If you’re debating the drive, just get in the car and go! If you’re in a toss-up on where to go, pick Rookh. This is the perfect restaurant for a date night, birthday dinner, girls night out, or solo outing.
I came with a party of 15 for my birthday, and everyone left impressed. The owner, Jagruti, personally welcomed us, and our server Ravi was incredibly attentive—he even switched one of the TVs to cartoons for the kids without us asking.
Food Highlights:
⭐️Naan Basket – Warm, garlicky, and perfect with the rich dipping sauce.
⭐️Chicken 65 Wings – Delicious and definitely have a kick.
⭐️Calamari Fries – Nice seafood complement to the menu with two great sauces.
⭐️ Lamb Chops – Tender, not gamey; paired with a rich, tangy sauce and yummy mashed potatoes.
⭐️ Butter Chicken Ravioli – Creamy, flavorful, and huge—served with naan!
⭐️ Risotto – Creamy dish with a mild flavor that lets the shrimp + mushrooms shine.
⭐️Spaghetti Vindaloo – Extremely flavorful and VERY spicy—only for true spice lovers. This was one of their best examples of a well-fused Italian-Indian dish.
⭐️ Tiramisu – Classic dessert with strong coffee notes.
⭐️ Mango Mutka – Fruity, creamy, and just the right size.
Mocktail Highlights:
Mango Velvet Ice – like dessert in a cup!
Strawberry Mojito – um, yum! refill me please!
We sat in the Knight Lounge, which was casual and fun with TVs, a bar, a pool table, and its own bathroom. Our group raved about the food and drinks all night. Rookh is a staple for my family now. I’m already excited to come back and try more of the menu!
My mom and I ordered and shared the chicken tacos (the shell appeared homemade and full of flavor, the chicken and sauces were great), the beef lasagne rolls (seasoned ground beef with a really tasty tomato sauce), and the tandoori shrimp pizza (yummy crust and high quality ingredients).
The seasoned popcorn to start was good and they have local beers available plus good looking mocktails.
We are already planning our return! She has never had Indian food before while I love it and we both loved each dish we tried today!
Thanks to the Mighty Rib for the review and recommendation!
Also really cute Christmas decorations so it felt festive!
As for service, we were seated immediately and our server got us waters and masala popcorn (very delicious!) before getting our appetizer order. We got The Naan Basket with the makhani sauce and it was SOO good. I ordered the Butter Chicken Ravioli, which is exactly what I was looking for in regard to fusion. It was delicious and super interesting as I had never even thought about combining the two. Naan was provided with the entree as well which really completed the meal. As we were getting ready to pay, we were pleasantly surprised with a sneak peak desert exclusive to the Valentine’s Day menu. (We also got a look at the special menu and everything on it sounded phenomenal.) I’d never had anything similar to this dish. I believe it was a yogurt based cream that had be frozen similar to ice cream with a more robust flavor and a mango base topped with strawberry and a chocolate garnish.
I cannot say enough about the hospitality and kindness we were shown while dining. I was blown away by this restaurant with how good the food was coupled with the polite and attentive staff. You get chef crafted cuisine at a reasonable price, so I highly recommend Rookh. Even if you think it’s not your taste, I’d be willing to bet you’ll find something you really like. What are you waiting for?(:
