The last couple times I’ve pulled in here to eat I’ve waited over 5-10 minutes for someone to answer the intercom. There was one person in the drive thru today and I was at the pull in kiosk. I pushed the red button and waited over 8 minutes for someone to answer me and then told me to hold for a minute. I was like fine whatever. Then another car pulled up next to me and pushed the red button and got service immediately. Are you kidding me? I had a kid in the back screaming because she’s hungry and y’all service the person who just pulled in over the person waiting?? Worst place to ever eat. Nothing fast about this “fast food” place.

I was disappointed today. I thought I would make a quick stop at Sonic on my way out of town, but it turned into a 45 minute delay. I made a mobile order at 3:03pm, pulled up and checked in on the mobile app like I’ve done before at other locations. After about 10 minutes waiting, I pressed the red button at my stall to connect with an employee. It took another 7-10 minutes for someone to come on the speaker asking for my order. I told them I had a mobile order and my name, and was told to go to the drive thru instead. I did not want to go to the drive thru, hence the mobile order. I did it anyway, and after waiting another 10 minutes in line for the drive thru (2 cars were ahead of me to get to the speaker) I told them again that I was there for a mobile order and the name. After pulling up and waiting for ANOTHER 7ish minutes, I got to the window. At this point it was about 3:35pm, 30 minutes after I had originally pulled up. The girl at the window came back after several minutes to tell me she couldn’t find the order, and asked what it was so she could just redo it. Then someone “found” the order so she handed it out to me. I asked that they re-make the drink since they couldn’t verify if it had been sitting for 30 minutes or if it was freshly made, and they did that. I appreciated that the girl at the window seemed to be doing her best, but I have no clue why service in general took so long and my original check in was disregarded.

We had to wait 1hr 25 minutes on our food they told us after we paid they was short staff I definitely wouldn’t of ordered then we get out food and its cold it sat in the bag so long when the car hop handed it to us the bottom of the bag busted out ill never go back to sonic in whiteville nc again

Our sonic is one of my favorit burger places. And hot dogs are absolutely terrific. Some of the employees need to dress better and look more presentableas wait staff. But everyone else and the food is great.

Never coming back service was so bad. The young lady at the window was very rude and rolled her eyes. I was very disappointed. She look like she could be in highschool. Cooperate or someone really needs to talk to her or get her out of there. If you don’t like your job then don’t work there. Not for sure what her name was but she was tall and light skinned.

Takes 15 minutes to get a response after pressing the button, food comes out warm like it’s been left sitting out.
Edit: It was ~48 minutes total and the two people we had to deal with were super rude.
Going to Sonic for lunch should not take the entire break.

My food was hot and ready eventhough I asked for a kids meal chicken popcorn box, they gave me and charge me for the regular meal. But it was good and the atmosphere is quiet so I won’t complain.

Took too long to bring out our order which was not correct. Ask for the right burger I ordered and waited again too long. WORST Sonic I have ever been to and I’ve been to a lot. I love Sonic but would never, ever recommend this location. I left angry, hungry, and minus $16 I had already paid with my card.
