The Farm House Café & Tea Room is a hidden GEM ✨️I I absolutely loved the rustic little cabin vibe but, wasn’t sure what we were walking into. The second I opened the door, my eyes darted to a million little treasures, a thrifters dream. We were greeted immediately by Betty, who was absolutely WONDERFUL, and were invited to go take a look upstairs where they had even more treasures, many that were for sale. Oh my, I loved everything! We arrived back at our table and shortly thereafter the food was brought out. The kids really enjoyed their burgers and potato salad. And me? Now, I’m a country-lovin’ gal, and dare I say, this was the BEST tenderloin I have ever had?!? Delish. We learned about the cabin’s history which made the experience even better. We all shared a piece of cherry pie before we hit the road and it was fabulous. There on the property was a greenhouse and maybe a little antique store? We were in a rush so we didn’t get to enjoy the entire property, but I can only imagine how beautiful this place is in the Spring We will return.
What an absolute treasure

The Farmhouse & Tearoom Café is such a charming spot — warm, cozy, and filled with that nostalgic countryside vibe that makes you feel instantly at home. The décor, and the calm atmosphere made it a special experience for me.
The food was absolutely delicious — everything tasted homemade and comforting.
The lovely waitress Kimberly was incredibly kind, professional, and had the brightest smile!
This little café made my day — it’s one of those rare places that makes you slow down, smile, and enjoy the simple pleasures of good food and good people. Highly recommend visiting.

I was beyond charmed by this incredibly magical, adorable, whimsical place. It felt like fairies were flitting around the place and kitchen witches stoking the atmosphere with joy. The free chips and spinach dip were amazing and an unexpected surprise. I can’t believe no one told me about this place sooner. My visit renewed my soul like the world’s best forest bathing. And I met a hummingbird moth for the first time there!!! So captivating.

Excellent food in a nice atmosphere, but OMG the service was so slow! It took almost half an hour just to get drinks! And another 15 minutes to pay our bill. They are just terribly understaffed, but otherwise the place is lovely, if a bit pricey.
There was no indoor seating available and we just went on a random weekday in August. Don’t come if you’re in any kind of a hurry.

Very cute stop on my way to Brown County. Was thankful for the younger girl working that day as I’m not sure the server who was supposed to take my order would have ever assisted. She was in back eating a sandwich or sitting down outside. Barely acknowledging my presence even though there were only 6 other people dining.
Would possibly stop again but would skip the restaurant.

Enjoy a 15-minute drive from Nashville to this hidden gem. Probably the peak of our vacation here. Next to a plant nursery and greenhouses, with patio or indoor seating. Super quaint and old fashioned. We received complimentary, delicious, warm spinach dip and chips as an appetizer. The main food and drinks are great, the views and vibes were great, and our server, Vickie, really went the extra mile to give us excellent service. We had a truly excellent time at this establishment, I HIGHLY recommend.

Quaint cafe in the heart of Brown County, IN. Food was good; they were out of handful of things so that was a bummer but what we had was yummy. They have a walk around garden and it’s also a “store” you want a plant after your meal- boom, you got it. Would return, 100%

My boyfriend and I have been looking forward to go to this restaurant for quite a while and truly enjoyed our experience here. Lovely atmosphere and great food. Service was great. Particularly they had really good green beans, great baked potatoes, amazing freshly brewed coffee, and crème de chicken soup. Attached to it is a garden shop which was a lovely walk for us. The routes to this restaurant are very scenic either sides. Great for date nights and special occasions.

Amazing outdoor atmosphere. Surrounded by beautiful flowers, plants, and art with the soothing sounds of a water falling.
The food is expensive but good.
The Reuben sandwich was my favorite . They use a lot of herbs in their soups and potato salad. I like that, but other guests did not.
I asked for my soup to be piping hot in advance. I let my server know so she wouldn’t bring out lukewarm soup, and so she wouldn’t need to make 2 trips.
She brought out almost cold potato soup. ……so 2 trips were necessary.
They have a sign indicating to be patient with the servers, but I think the servers should also follow the same rule.
The lady that first greeted us was not very welcoming. She had a judgmental sour look of her face and questioned my husband about his service dog. (My husband’s been through 80 surgeries in 4 years….she has no idea!) Try a little kindness.
Fortunately, another gal, our server, became a bit more friendly throughout our meal.
Their servers need to learn to bring joy and pleasantness to those who are tipping them.

The waitresses we had must’ve been new. She took my order and didn’t bring my side, we had to ask for silverware and they were out of brownies. The waitress must’ve gotten reamed out because she came to deliver our check in tears. The place was adorable, but it was a strange dining experience. If you’re in the area, the ambiance is worth the visit. Hopefully management sorts out their employee situation.
