We had never heard of this place but we decided to try it. The food was very good but expensive. ($25 for meatloaf and cauliflower with brussel sprout leaves) With dessert and tip we ended up paying around $140 for dinner. For that reason, I probably won’t frequent it but I would definitely go back.

Fantastic experience! My husband and I shared a few dishes so we could try more of the menu—the poutine special, BBQ platter, and peach fry pie—and every bite was incredible.
The service was just as good as the food. Alyssa at the host stand was so welcoming, and our waiter Don was friendly, attentive, and even gave us some great local recommendations since we’re visiting from out of town.
Honestly surprised it wasn’t busier—this place deserves to be packed with locals. The only down side was it was such a good experience it made us not want to venture out to try other places during our stay!

Update.- The risotto is delicious. I had mine with just veggies.
Our table had the brussel sprouts appetizer, duck, ribs, ribeye, burger, and a few drinks from the bar. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was, the presentation of it, and the large portions. You can tell Chef Erica really cares about her work. All of the staff were friendly and it was great experience. The drinks were great as well. I look forward to more veggie/vegan options on the next menu change.

This place was recommended to us by a friend and we finally decided to check it out for breakfast. Overall, it was fantastic. Our only disappointment was that we didn’t try it sooner! The food was delicious and the service was top notch! Highly recommended!

Went for breakfast; I got the Hub City and wife got Mamie’s french toast. Looking at the reviews and prices, our expectations were pretty high… The hostess and waitress were friendly and accommodating but the food was bad. Everything except the eggs tasted like it was pre-packaged frozen food that was re-heated. Also left a strange aftertaste. The syrup for my wife’s french toast wasn’t even real maple syrup. The food was a complete dissapointment.

This was an unbelievable surprise! One of the best meals we have ever had. Definitely raises the bar for food in the upstate. The absolute best brussel sprouts I’ve ever eaten. Very clever and tons of food! The absolute best caprese salad I’ve ever eaten! Also incredibly unique and unbelievable flavor combinations! The pork chop was cooked to perfection! Wonderful dish and I highly recommend it. The chicken fried spare ribs were amazing. Very rich and decadent. Peach pie and Bread pudding unbelievable! Honestly blown away. Going to just setup direct deposit here! Cidney was a fantastic server. Our compliments to the Chef!!
Update: after 4 trips here I need to update my review. The fourth trip I had the ribs. Worst plate I’ve ever experienced for $30. The ribs were so small and lacking any meat. My fork would not even penetrate the corn bread. The spaghetti Mac and cheese has a decent flavor but was cold. I had to go as far as complain. They took it back and brought out the burnt ends. Second time I had those, this time they were not edible. I could not chew them. They took them back right away. I Left hungry. The caprese salad also went from one of the best dishes I’ve ever had to just ok the second time to thrown together mess the third time. These guys obviously don’t have consistent chefs in the kitchen. Sorry.

We enjoyed the food and drinks from the foyer bar location. It seems like a welcoming gathering hole without the stuffiness of a sit down (of course, that’s right around the corner if you’re looking for a formal atmosphere or conducting a meeting). Their food is delicious and worth stopping by even if you’re not there to stay!

Went to this restaurant last night as part of a group who gathers once a month. Was looking forward to a nice night but was sadly disappointed. This restaurant will only allow three checks with a group of fifteen which put everyone in an uncomfortable position. I find this to be unacceptable. Also restricted the menu to four choices for a party this size. I am a reasonable and tolerant person with retail and restaurant staffs I have worked with the public so I understand their side of it. The manager was rude and inflexible with the check policy and her attitude is the main reason we left without ordering . We went to Main Street Pub and had a wonderful time. I don’t think I will return1831 again.
