My family has gone to Bruster’s for years, but after my last visit, I won’t be returning. I ordered Cookie Craze and Brookie but was mistakenly served ice cream with peanut butter sauce — I have a severe peanut allergy. After one bite, my throat began to close which led to a trip to the ER.
What’s most disappointing is how the situation was handled by the adults that run this business. I had to follow up repeatedly and finally got a response a month later when I reached out to corporate. I was told to file a claim that was later denied. Bruster’s was not willing to help me out other than giving me a refund after I had to ask!!
After seeing other reviews about incorrect orders and allergy mix-ups, I realize this wasn’t an isolated case. Ownership does not care fix this issues when they arise.
If you have allergies I highly recommend finding another ice cream spot!!

A beautiful day so we decided to check out Bruster’s and they did not disappoint!!! Mint Chocolate Chip Oat Milk, Birthday Cake and Butter Brickle are the flavors pictured. Only 3 young ladies working and they were sweet, fast and efficient! Check them out, be patient and enjoy

Truly a great place with my new favorite ice cream flavor, Cinnamon! Ryan at the register was so kind and friendly! The staff puts out orders in an instant, and this place has a wonderful small-town feel.
It’s outside and drive thru only with only two benches for seating, so be ready to stand outside to wait for your cone!
There are so many great flavors to choose from, and they even offer a pup cup for the doggos! We’ll be back!

I got three ice creams for my kids. One of my little ones got the sorbet “kickin Mango” they failed to tell us that they actually use some sort of spice, then when I asked for a cup of water after explaining the issue they offer to sell me a bottle. Needless to say, not coming back, not because of the issue specifically but the complete lack of empathy.

Came on a Friday afternoon. Wasn’t too busy, the lady was super helpful and nice. Paid around $13 for 2 ice creams. They have sitting areas which is great. I got a brownie Sunday and my wife got a mint chocolate chip cone.

The ice cream is phenomenal!
I got a hot fudge sundae with white turtle ice cream (my very favorite). They start with the very best vanilla ice cream and add the pecans and caramel ribbon – just wonderful.
They didn’t have my wife’s favorite, so she tried the coffee chocolate chip hot fudge sundae. It must have been awesome because she hardly said a word. She did, however, comment on the abundance of chocolate chips, twice.
Thank you Bruster’s for maintaining the highest quality with all the flavors that we have tried.

We come to this Bruster’s every time our dogs get groomed. We love the tradition and our dogs love the pup cups. The customer service is always awesome and the ice cream is 10/10.

I went to this breusters for the first time in a year bevaise I had a bad experience last time and I order a chocolate milkshake and a large waffle bowl with vanilla icecream and strawberry topping and an extra waffle bowl. They even went iver my order again at the window because whoever took my order couldn’t seemingly understand this straightforward order I made. I then was given my order and I had to ask for the extra waffle bowl as they left that out. Then I get home and I have vanilla icecream with marshmallow cream all over it and butterfingers! I didn’t order marshmallow cream on anything! I hate marshmallows so I had to throw out the entire thing and didn’t get any ice cream because by the time I would’ve gone back they would be closed. This is ridiculous. I’ll never go back to this place again! They owe me 15 dollars! I paid for then to double check my order and still screw it up. This is what I get for trying this place again. Not to mention whoever made this is a toddler as it looks like my 4 year old just dumped all this on the floor and stomped on it a bunch and then threw it in a bowl. It was so full the icecream and topping was all over the top of the bowl. I have to say too the vanilla ice cream just wasnt good at all. It was thin and runny and there was almost zero vanilla flavor. The vanilla out of the harris teeter brand carton is better than what was in this bowl. Im sure some people like this ice cream but it was not good. It wasnt like any ice cream ive ever gotten from this place either. I had a chocolate shake and that was great but unfortunately that wasnt for me so i only got to taste it. I understand at least from their website that they make the ice cream at the store and i think someone either made a bad batch this time or what i got was something else entirely and not vanilla
but the ice cream literally had zero taste. It was like there was no sugar in the ice cream at all. Im not sure if they have sugar free vanilla but if they do then they messed up and used that in my order. This was so bad. I would appreciate my money back but it would be more trouble than it’s worth to try and get the children that work there to be professional. That was another problem. The girl taking orders was trying to do everything and the two guys were standing around doing nothing. The ither guy who apparently made this slop like order needs a lesson in how to scoop ice cream and mix in toppings. There is a place right up the road called SCOOP AND SWIRL and they are a small business not a chain and their ice cream is a thousand times better but they weren’t open. Next time I’ll just wait because I’ve never had bad ice cream there but this breusters must be so used to so many families coming and sitting outside to eat ice cream that they feel like they don’t have to make good ice cream anymore to get business. Stop by for the new Ice cream apple caramel crunch. It was Outstanding! I felt like I was eating an apple pie. I could taste the chunks of apple, caramel and what seemed like that delicious crispy crust at the bottom of a pie. I’ll be back for more.
