Took my family there to pick up some food and every was very nice. We got a drink and all the food. It was so delicious and good. The salad was very fresh and the chicken was juicy. The eclair was big and full of custard. The chicken soup was so flavorful and came with bread and butter. The Ruben sandwich came with potato salad which was so good and came with a full pickel which was perfect. Not to sour. I’d be willing to go again.

Since new ownership took over last year food taste, quality and staff definitely has changed. I understand that everyone wants their spin on a business and save money but have been eating here myself and with my wife for very many yrs. I was in myself a few months ago and told my wife about the changes. I thought today one more chance. Failed again. IMO

I placed an online order with Manhattan Deli in Mentor on December 31 with a pick up time of 4:30 PM. When I arrived at the restaurant they had closed at 2 PM. I returned Jan. 2 explained what Happened and manager asked if I would wait a couple days to see if Zuppler would automatically make the refund. They did not. I returned to the restaurant four times and made several phone calls. I kept being told they will refund my money but the manager was not there, had just left for the day then was out sick. The last call I made I spoke with a different manager who told me he was fired, said I should come in and she would give me the refund. I went in later that day the woman I spoke with had left for the day and I spoke with a new manager. He did not give me the refund instead took my name and number. He called me the next day and said I have to go through Zuppler to get my refund. My experience with Zuppler was wonderful, took only a few minutes. The gentleman I spoke with was very helpful and understanding. However why wasn’t I told this at Manhattan Deli the first time I went in instead of making phone calls and going into the restaurant for three weeks. I’ve eating at various Manhattan Deli’s for years, after this experience it has soured me from having any desire to eat there anytime soon if ever again.

Our next adventure takes us to Mentor Ohio and to the Manhattan Deli, a 30 year old establishment that has been pushing out diner cuisine consistently from a large and diverse menu. From American style hamburgers, prime rib dinners, and corn beef sandwiches to Lebanese dishes like freahly made hummus and baba ghanoush, all served quickly and with a pleasant smile. Our hostess, who has been with the deli for over twenty years, was very engaging and enjoyable to talk with. The Manhattan Deli is a great place for a solid meal and should be on your list if you are ever in the Mentor Ohio area.

Fall 2018 – Always good. Varied menu. Great pickles. Friendly staff. Nice outdoor space.
Spring 2019 – Excellent roast beef sandwich. Potato salad is simple and good. They have good specials and do catering. Take care of your server!
Winter 2020 – Had a Cuban tonight, which came with a free slice of cheesecake. Look at my pics to see what special on what night. Great place!

The meat loaf and matzo ball soup were horrible – couldn’t even finish them. The other entrees we ordered were just ok. The food and menu at the Willoughby location is 100% better than at Mentor.

Lots of tasty food to choose from (we stick with the typical deli offerings although today we did breakfast). Reasonable prices, eggs / omelets for $9-$12, the servings are large, but not huge. If you have room, then try a dessert. They are usually very good.

A wonderful Sunday breakfast with the ones I love. We were greeted and sat immediately. Waitress took order and our food was in front of in 10 minutes. Food was hot and tasty

They have changed owners. Staff was nice. Food quality has changed. Corned beef is much different. Salads are decent. Cheesecake menu is different. Not as good as before.
